I went a few years ago...I loved it! I had to be on a waiting list list 9 months to get tickets at the time, because it was so popular.

No, it was actually cool the way they did the musical. All of the "puppets" and such. And the way all of the people came together with pieces of Mufasa's head in the clouds to make it complete (like a puzzle) was awesome. My husband, who can barely tolerate me with my Lion King obsession, was actually impressed by the musical. But it did run us $85/each a ticket at the time for orchestra. And now it's over $100. But, *shrugs* I go to broadway as often as I can. I'm going there to see a musical on Sunday for my birthday.

Yeh happy birthday mate i hope you enjoy it. Though i think 100 quid is a bit steep for what is basically a glorified puppet show..but i do agree the African chanty people are cool i mite give it a try next time its on the west end (british equivalent of broadway)

June? Well, I couldn't talk my parents into taking me to London to see the premier of LWW, But my birthday's in June and I might talk them...my sister is persuasive, and she's almost as obsessed as me, so I might get her on my side...hmm...
