The entire way, Vitani informed Hara of this dramatic turn of events. When she had finished filling him in, Hara asked, "But, Aunt Tani, how can you be sure he's being turthful?" To which Vitani replied, "He's telling the truth..." Looking back at Kopa and Sky she added, "I can feel it."
When they arrved at Pride Rock, Kitabu, Hara's ex-mate and Vitani's Vice President was there to greet them. Hara greeted Kitabu timidly, "Hello, Kit." To this, Kitabu snuffed Hara and turned to Vitani, anxiously but quietly prodding her with questions about what Kopa was here for. Vitani then quietly explained the situation to her and the Buhatians' change of heart. After hearing that the Buhatians wished to join the Faedrian Alliance, she said to Kopa, "General, I hope we can come to terms of a peace treaty."

Kopa and Sky had been in the middle of a hushed conversation when Kitabu unknowingly interrupted. The General turned to face Kit, a small but friendly smile on his face. "I hope so too. I would like to begin negotiations immediatly." He replied, glancing over at Sky, then at Hara, Vitani, and Kitabu.
Sky, who had stepped aside while Kopa and Kitabu spoke, was surprised to see that yet another messenger bird came for her. After the bird delievered it's message, the lioness sighed and padded off. She had yet another meeting with the media to attend to. She wasn't looking foreward to the press conference, she didn't like how she was literally interrogated on her plans for the future, and for her own life. Within moments, Sky was out of sight, heading for the conference.

Tullus backed up a little as he saw a lioness in the distance. He sighed and sat down. He tried blending in...but not a lot. He watched the lioness and continued to try and get out of her view. He sighed softly. The truth was..he was actualy scared.

As Vitani watched Sky run off to her press conference, she suddenly realized something very important. She then said to Kopa, "General, I think it would be best if we met with the ambassadors of the Faedrian Alliance and and the Kingdom of Asria and the Noveria Clan so we can obtain their approval for a treaty."

"You need not worry about the allies of the Pride Lands, President Vitani." A voice stated calmly from within the shadows of the cave Hara, Vitani, Kopa, and Kitabu had met in. A moment later, a single Black Panther literally appeared out of thin air. It was Commander Kell, the Noveria Clan's liason to Pride Rock. "Your nation is actually the last to receive news of Buhati's desire to break with the So'Kar. So this alliance has everyone's blessing." He explained, sitting down and absentmindedly licking a forepaw.
Kopa was slightly startled when Kell appeared out of nowhere. He hated it when the Panther did that.
Sky continued towards the press conference, which, for some strange reason, was taking place away from Pride Rock. When she arrived at the designated meeting place, she was greeted by no less than twenty lions and lionesses. After exchanging greetings, Sky sat down on a raised pedestal of rock and began taking questions.

It was somewhat bittersweet development that Vitani had just heard from Commander Kell. She asked Kell, "Commander, do we have an official statement from the Lokaran that a treaty has been discussed? After all, Noveria and Buhati are allies aren't they?"
Furejo raised her paw. "Sky, do you feel that the Noveria's alliance with Buhati Province can be somewhat benficial in the war against the So'kar even though they are not allied with us at the present time?"

Kell nodded and slipped a small leather bag off his shoulder. He removed a small envelope from it, and he slid it across the floor to Vitani. "This is the statement." He replied, smiling very faintly at Vitani. "Also, I suggest that you take a long, hard look into Sky's background. Clan Intel officers believe that she has blood ties to the So'Kar Royal Family. She may be a spy." He added, his smile dissapearing and being replaced with a cold frown. "And yes, I realize how serious that sounds. I personally doubt that Sky is a traitor, but if she is related to the So'Kar royal family... Then she is vulnerable."
Sky looked over at Furejo, and thought for a moment before she replied. "Yes, I feel that their alliance will ultimately prove to be very benifical to us. In fact, the Noveria Clan reports that their alliance is already supplying them with vital intelligece on So'Kar troop movements and supply routes."

As Vitani began opening the envelope with her paws, the news of Sky's possible relation to the So'kar struck her like a ton of bricks. Could it really be even remotely possible that Sky was only in the election for the interest of the So'kar? Was the only reason she was an Aristocratic-leaning Conservative the cover for really having a desire to return to a monarchy? Vitani lost most of her interest in the statement as she was thinking about all these things.
[Sorry, but I'm reposting this part in case you missed it, Jamall.]
Furejo raised her paw. "Sky, do you feel that the Noveria's alliance with Buhati Province can be somewhat benficial in the war against the So'kar even though they are not allied with us at the present time?"

In fact, the Noveria Clan reports that their alliance is already supplying them with vital intelligece on So'Kar troop movements and supply routes."
Kopa finally looked up at Vitani and company, as he was ready to enter the conversation. "Sky IS related to the So'Kar royal family. She's the daughter of King Asrian Lo'Kar, the rightful king of the So'Kar and Kais Lo'Tan's elder brother. She opposes the So'Kar just as much as the rest of us. Besides, there's no way she'd work for the coward who had her parents killed." He said softly, every one of his words intended to defend Sky from any suspicion. What he didn't realize is that he had just revealed the fact that he and Sky knew each other.
[Gotta go, TTYL!]

As the news spread of Godi's genocide of MOEH members, he became instatly popular amongst nationalistic Outlanders. He gathered his supporters for another speach, he was now, intentionally, dangerously close to the Outland-Prideland border. More than a hundred hungry and desperate lions had come to watch the instantly famous speaker in his latest performance. 'Behind me is Pride Rock. You see it, you recognise it as a symbol of fairness, it was once our home, should our home, but we gave it up for free speech. Those who opposed the monarchy we're forced into this arrid wasteland and those which blindly decided to follow the warmongering kings were fed to conceal their blindness! Well, they realised this was wrong, and instead of giving us back what is rightfully ours, they remove the king and replace him with a president. This is supposed to be fairer, what the people want, and what truly fair nation plunges itself into a war? And further more, when did we become an entirely seperate country? I don't remember wanting to seperate from the Pridelands. I DIDN'T EVER WANT TO LEAVE THE GROUNDS ON WHICH MY FATHERS AND THOSE BEFORE HIM DEFENDED AND GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR!' The fanatic crowd's roars gained the attention of several herbivores grazing on the edge of the Pridelands. 'And yet, I don't want to go back... I have fought for this land, worthless as it is, and I know many who have died for it. Though we are apparently a seperate nation the 'fair and free' Pridelanders have forever treated us as if we belong to them. Are we seperate or are we not? Or perhaps, we are controlled. Perhaps the Pridelanders keep us under their secret 'Empire'. What is their to gain from conquering here, no food, no life, no gold only us. They want to control us, and my friends, I WILL NOT ALLOW THAT! And the MOEH say we should join them.' He laughs. 'They're as greedy as the Pridelanders, taking what they want and then wanting more. The Pridelanders have their lush bountiful plains, and yet they want more, and attack other Prides, the MOEH aren't happy with your dead relatives scraps of food, and so want more, and want to join the Pridelands. If you let yourself become blinded by Prideland trickery then you deserve what the other MOEH members got!' The crowd again roared in support. 'Alas my faithful audience, the days are short and I must rest, take what you want from my words.' And with that he left his 'stage' as the ever roaring crowd chanted 'We are strong'.

Furejo raised her paw once again. "Sky, do you believe that the Pridelands should begin utilizing airial vulture infantry to attack the So'kar's supply routes?"
Vitani listened to Kopa with suspicious attentiveness. When he had finished exonerating Sky, she inquired of him, "General, forgive me for prying, but may I ask how did you obtain this information about Sky?"

Sky slowly shook her head, and once again took a moment to collect herself before she answered. "No. The Vultures are scavengers who work for the highest bidder. If we contracted them to fight, they would undoubtedly gather intel on our troops and sell that intel to the So'Kar. We are better off relying on the Hawks and Falcons. Though they are fewer in number, they are loyal to the Pride Lands."
Kopa swallowed hard and took a deep breath. He instantly knew that he had screwed up. "I... Before the war started... Sky and I were... Friends." He replied, trying to avoid telling Vitani that he and Sky had in fact been much more than mere friends. "The war has seperated us." He added, also trying to avoid telling the President that he and Sky had kept in touch throughout the entire war, which is why Sky had been able to get such excellent intel on So'Kar troop movements.

Furejo thought about Sky's response, and then raised her paw once again. "Sky, how do you feel about the fact that President Vitani is now polling above the margin?" [Ahead by more than 10%].
Vitani surveyed Kopa for a few seconds, but then decided to drop the whole matter. With a heavy sigh, she replied, "I see, General....Commander Kell, please relay this message to the Lokaran: 'The Pridelands and Buhati Province are currently engaged in alliance negotiations and a final agreement is pending.' Also, could you please find me the ambassador for the Faedrian Alliance?" She added hastily.

Sky smiled faintly, then shrugged. "I have to say that I am not terribly surprised. Vitani is a brilliant politican, this was to be expected." She replied, her smile broadening. Unlike other politicans, Sky refused to badmouth her opponents. Not only was she not any good at such a thing, but she considered it dishonorable.
The Commander nodded, then dissapeared out of the cavern to deliver Vitani's message. At the same time, a lioness took off to find the Faedrian Alliance's ambassador, and ask her [or him] to meet with Vitani. Kopa shifted his weight from his left paws to his right, then back again. Something he always did when he was nervous about something.

Out of no where, Tullus was pounced. Three lionessess pushed him up and nipped at him. Lets go...you Spy! Who are you working for? one yelled at him. Tullus stared at hem "No one! I come from the Outlands...but have no family!" he was bitten on the ear again. He roared in rain. She ripped the tip and a piece of skin off. You LIAR! she exclaimed spitting out the skin. He looked at them and snarled a little. He wasnt going to attack...he was to afraid of who was going to be after the lioness. He followed them to a small den. He was pushed in on rocks and stones. Blood dripped from his ear. One lioness ran off to find someone. She ran into a den and cleared her throat. Sky...President Vitani...A Spy outlander was spotted....he was placed in the prison cell for now...What are we to do with him... she asked softly.

Vitani discreetly watched General Kopa perform this anxious habit, urging herself not to stare. When her agent came into the den and addressed her as well as Sky, who was not there, that an Outlander spy had been captured, Vitani replied, "Very good work. See to it that he goes on trial by tomorrow. Oh, and this is not Sky, this is Ambassador General Kopa from Buhati Province of the So'kar."

Kopa immediatly stopped his figeting when the messenger came in, his interest now shifted to this 'spy'. "May I see this 'spy'? I may be able to identify him." He offered, smiling very faintly.
Meanwhile, Sky's press conference had [thankfully] ended, and therefore she headed back to Pride Rock. Along the way, she was intercepted by her brother, Jamall, who is a Colonel in the Pride Lands army. He told her about the spy who had been apprehended, then left to be with his family. Sky sighed and headed straight towards the Prison Den, wanting to question the spy before he went on trial.

Tullus was an idiot. If he stayed there until dawn, he probably would have been okay. But no! He paced back and forth and then layed down. When laying down, he licked his paw and tried his best to clean his ear. It hurt badly! But he stayed strong and made sure that no emotions came to the surface of his skin. He sighed and covered his face withhis paws. Once more..he was an IDIOT!

Godi picked a select few from his ever growing group of supporters. He straddled into the Pridelands with the chosen ensemble of lions. Suspecting an unprovoked attack, the animals fled, but the lions did not give chase. As they strided closer to their target, Pride Rock, their journey was duely intervened by a number of lions. The confused Pride guards weren't entirely sure what to make of the uncoordinated crew, some look ready to pounce, others merely stood there, their apparent leader Godi being one of the latter. To avoid appearing rude he decided he wouldn't speak until spoken to. After some time one of the guards decided that she had to speak up. 'What are you doing in the Pridelands, Outlanders?' she asked, unsure if she had made the right decision. 'I request an audience with Princ-... President Vitani.' He replied, intentionally messing up, an underhanded subtle way to annoy the guards. 'Why? What could you have which needs President Vitani?' questioned another lion. Godi chuckled quietly. 'I represent the people of the Outlands, not on paper, but in mind. Now can someone please take me to the President.' He barked at them, pretneding to become frustrated. Intimidated by the angering Outlanders several guards shot from their cluster to find the President before all hell broke lose.
