[I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause confusion over the entire RP. ] [Don't be sorry, I enjoyed reading your work before I knew it would be part of this RP. It's kind of simple, your stuff is the history, Jamall's is the current situation, I think the problem is there's alot to take in at the start so people will get confused at the beginning, but I'm sure it'll sort itself out in a bit]

Vitani heard whispering behind her, but couldn't distinguish what or who it was. She led them all the way to Pride Rock, slowly agonizing in her mind about the long, complicated battle that was certain to come.

As the group walked into Pride Rock, Kopa jogged ahead to speak with Vitani. "Excuse me, President Vitani. I was wondering if there was a place we could speak in private." He said quietly, probably causing some confusion among the Pride Landers. Even Kopa's own pair of guards seemed surprised by his action, but they figured out what he was doing, so they nodded their approval without hesitation.

Vitani did not know what Kopa was implying, especially after his guards nodded at him, but she decided to go along with it. "I suppose we could meet at the water hole. It's usually unoccupied at this time of day." She cast Kopa a suspicious look, but then said to him, "Follow me."

Kopa smiled faintly and nodded, then he followed closely behind Vitani. Once they arrived at the watering hole, he sat down a few feet in front of her, a thin smile on his face. "Sorry for dragging you out here. I can't speak freely in front of my men." He began, looking down at his paws. He then looked up at Vitani, his smile completly gone. "My people, the Buhatians, are no longer satisfied being under So'Kar and Outlander rule. I believe you can imagine what that means, President Vitani."
[Gotta go, TTYL!]

Godi capitalised on the attention he had as he clambered to the tip of the Pillar. 'My Outland brothers and sisters, I have just been robbed, and do you care? No. What's a strangers loss when you are grieving over family members eternally. You know, this sickens me, it wasn't so long ago that he were strong, not just in numbers, but individually. There is a reason for our position, and we blame our past leaders, and we blame our lack of a leader now. But does that really satisfy you? No, because it's wrong. Make no mistake, we are weak. We are the backtrodden land of no law, but look at what we've been given. Look firstly at our land, the Earth is so arrid that grass doesn't grow, yet, we grow in vast numbers, and what does that say about us?' The crowd mumbled 'THAT WE ARE STRONG!' Roars shook the ground. 'But don't look at what we are given by mother nature, oh no. It's not nature's fault we live in this hell hole. It's PRIDELANDERS!' Some cheers could be heard. He laughed. 'You see, not all of you agree. You've been told that we are the same as them, that one day we and the Pridelanders will live together... Rubbish. We are the same because we are lions, all similarities end there. We were shunned here by the Pridelanders, IT IS THERE FAULT WE LIVE HERE! Opposers of the King Simba we're cast aside, thrown into this wreck. THEY DISAGREED WITH THE WAY THINGS WERE DONE IN THE PRIDELANDS! AND RIGHTLY SO! All it has done is cost countless lives in war after war after war! And when someone stands against them what happens? They are thrown aside. Land of the free indeed.' The crowd again roared, converted by Godi's skills as a public speaker. 'Pridelanders project themselves as a higher species. On the front, they'll say all are equal, but you know deep down there just going ''Outty Outty Outty'' or ''Scar Follower'' or some such rubbish. Are they better than us? Unlikely, they're scared. They are dependent on thier lands, well I say ''their lands'' but whoever gave it to them?' The crowd laughed in agreement. 'Anyway, they need tp bounty of the Pridelands to survive, they're terrified of our ability to thrive in this place, they've had multiple chances to reintroduce us into that land, they have, but whenever anything happens. We're to blame and we're back here. Well I've had it. I'M TIRED OF BEING TOLD I AM NOT AS GOOD AS A PRIDELANDER BECAUSE OF THEIR FEAR! I'M TIRED OF WATCHING FRIENDS AND FAMILY STARVE AS THE GREEDY PRIDLANDERS HAVE ALL THEY NEED AND MORE! AND I'M TIRED OF BEING TOLD I'M WEAK! WE ARE STRONG!!!' The Outlanders gave a tremendous roar. 'WE ARE STRONG! WE ARE STRONG!' The crowd repeated him as MOEH members fled, scared of being caught in pro-Outlander Conflict.

Vitani stared at Kopa not daring to take his words for face value. She surveyed him from head to toe quite inconspicuously (as a former commander in the Pridelands army, she had an uncanny knack for distinuishing lies). Finally, she replied, noticeable optimistically, "General, does this mean what I think it means?"

[Uh... Who do you want to be, Kye?]
Kopa slowly nodded in response. "Yes, President Vitani, it does. The Buhati Province is severing all diplomatic and economic ties with the So'Kar and the Outlanders. My people wish to establish ties with the Pride Lands, and end all conflict between our two peoples." He replied, a optimistic smile creeping over his muzzle.
Sky, Nala's protege and a canidate in the upcoming presidential elections next month, was somewhat busy arguing with a hardcore Liberty Party congresswoman. "Lady Hakira, I assure you, I have the Pride Land's best interest at heart! And no, unlike what your informant has told you, I am NOT a member of the Aristocratic party. I have no desire whatsoever to return the Pride Lands to a complete monarchy, though I do believe that returning the Pride Lands to a more traditional form of goverment is needed to preserve our nation's strength. Now, I have pressing business to attend to, please excuse me." She stated, glaring at Lakira for a moment. The young lioness then turned and padded out of the meeting den, only to be intercepted by a messenger bird.
"Ma'am, General Kopa has arrived. He is at the watering hole, speaking with President Vitani. You wished to meet him when he arrived, yes?" The bird chirped, landing on Sky's shoulder and hyperventilating somewhat. "Yes I did, thank you Janji." She sighed, a faint smile on her lips. She then took off at a jogging pace towards the watering hole, her eyes fixed on the distant form of Kopa. Within a minute, she arrived at the watering hole, and was standing several feet away from Kopa and Vitani. "President Vitani, General Kopa." She said, walking up to them and sitting down.

Vitani nodded curtly at Sky and thought about snubbing her and returning to speaking to Kopa, but she knew Sky's tactics like the back of her paw and she knew Sky would spew it out to the media within an hour, so she asked, "How are you, Sky?"

[If you want!]
Sky returned Vitani's nod with a warm, sisterly smile and laughed softly. "To be honest, I'm not doing as well as I could be. I just got a earful of nonsense from... Well, it doesn't matter who. How are you, Vitani?" She asked, trying to be friendly with Vitani. Even though she butted heads very often with Vitani now that they were on opposite sides, she still wanted to be friends with the older lioness.
Kopa sighed and looked around, waiting for the conversation to drift back to him. He had to work hard to keep from padding up to Sky and nuzzling her, but he managed to stop himself because he knew how much the elections mattered to her, and that it would ruin everything for her if it became known that she was involved with him.

Vitani returned the smile in the same sisterly manner. She then cleared her throat extremely nervously. "Umm...Sky, there is something that Kopa and I have to tell you," she began, looking at Kopa, but then back at Sky, "It appears as though Buhati Province wishes to restore diplomatic ties with the Pridelands and withdraw from its alliance with the So'kar and the Outlanders. General Kopa has just informed me of this very fortunate turn of events." Vitan's mind suddenly shifted from peace-negotiating mode to political mode. She sighed quietly and then said to Sky, "How do you think we should release this news to everybody?"

Sky's jaw dropped as Vitani relayed the news. She collected herself, and a broad smile crept over her muzzle. "Right away, the Pride Lands need to hear this. It'll provide a massive morale boost, AND it'll sap the morale of the Outlanders and the So'Kar." She replied, trying to stay as calm as possible.
Kopa smiled as the two lionesses began discussing how to release the information, but rather than join in the conversation, he looked to the sky. "Our chains have been broken..." He whispered, repeating a ancient battle cry that long ago marked the beginning of Buhatia's first Liberty War.

Vitani looked to Kopa, grinning widely and told him, "We can offer you and your government officials political asylum if you would like. I think this was the unifying blow that we needed to unite our people as well as everybody else against the So'kar and the Outlanders." Her face then became semi-serious as she asked him, "Kopa, does anybody else know about this?"

"Hmm? Oh, right. Yes, about 99% of the Buhatian population knows of this break. The remaining one percent are So'Kar loyalists, and have been kept in the dark and isolated from all events in the Province." Kopa replied, a small smile on his muzzle. "We have been planning this break for many, many years, President Vitani. And while the officials of my Goverment will stay behind, I, as the Govenor of the Province, will stay here to finalize our break with the So'Kar. And besides, the So'Kar will try to kill me when I return home. I'm safer staying here for a few days."

Godi stepped down from the Pillar, mixing in with his crowd. Cheers and roars still filling the air. 'My People!' He growled, cutting the noise. 'Before we clear the Pridelands, we must first attend to our own problems. You've seen them, in every nook and cranny, scrapping at your food, taking your possessions, and then proclaiming to have the solution to our problems. WELL IF YOU ASK ME OR ANY DECENT OUTLANDER THEY WILL TELL YOU THE MOEH ARE THE PROBLEM!' The crowd once more showed it's support by cheering. 'We will hang them as they have hung so many of us! They gang on their opposers! They gang on those with food! And they want to end the conflict? The MOEH is just an excuse to commit just another excuse to commit crimes against good Outlanders! AND THESE CRIMINAL WILL BE PUNISHED!' He began to march through the Outlands, followed by a cheering band of angered lions. They began a culling of any MOEH supporters they found, mercilessly taking 'revenge' out on them. Many fled to the Pridelands as many had good relations there. They were far from safe in Outlands now. The news spread quickly of Godi's rally, met with mixed feelings, some went to join, some hid. He was always known for his pro-Outlander feelings and maniacal hatred of those which opposed it, now with growing power, what could he achieve?

Vitani nodded entusiastically the whole time Kopa was speaking. When he had finished, she said, "Absolutely! I agree that you and your guards should stay here at least for a few days. Follow me, we'll make our way to Pride Rock with Hara and the others and we'll have the treaty finalized."

Kopa nodded and stood up. At the same time, Sky stood up and moved alongside Kopa, out of habit. The couple exchanged small smiles, then they looked away from each other, lest Vitani figure out that they knew each other. The moment Vitani began heading back to Pride Rock, Kopa and Sky followed, never straying more then six feet behind the President.
