INTRODUCTION
This RP is based on a book written by a 15 year-old girl. It's actually quite amazing. It is about vampires, but it explains alot. When you get bitten by a vampire, you will become one of the several variations of them. One vampire kind does most things with their minds. They can teleport, go into other people's minds, change forms (from human to tiger, or hawk, lion- the list goes on and on).
Some vampires are not affected by sunlight, though they all have keen eyes, so noonday sun would hurt their eyes. Their smelling is twenty times stronger than that of an average bloodhound, so garlic does bother them. Their reflection gets fainter the older they are. They do not age. Holy water and crosses don't bother them, either. Silver bracelets and necklaces do not hurt them if they wear it, but if a knife has some silver in it and they are cut, they do not heal right away. Those cuts usually leave scars too.
Tristes have to breathe, they have a pulse, their blood smells like a humans, you can't even tell the difference, unless you read their aura. But once a vampire bites into them and drinks the blood, they are poisoned. Tristes' blood contains a certain chemical that is deadly to vampires
BASIC STORYLINE Okay, this takes place in the present, New York City. I know, there are so many RPs in New York, I just couldn't think of anything else. Were wolves and Vampires are natural enemies. They have been fighting ever since a Were Wolf went wild and killed his friend, a common Vampire. Vampires see it as the Were Wolves' fault, Were Wolves see it as the Vampires' fault. This is pretty much gonna be a HUGE battling RP. (I love battles...) Were Wolves are normally savage creatures once turned wolf, and usually hunt soon after the transformation. They aren't as sneaky as Vampires, but they do act like normal wolves. Think like a wolf when RPing as one. Now lets go into Vampires. Vampires are mean, cold blooded serpents of the night. Some are pure and kind; but they still are blood sucking demons. They are smarter than Were Wolves (when in wolf form) but are not as strong. Vampire fights, when against each other, are very deadly. Nothing better stand in their way of killing each other. Usually fights are to the death, when against each other. RULES
1. You are free to fight, use fowl language, anything. Just try to keep that to a minimum. 2. You can be anything at all, a were wolf, vampire, mortal, or even a witch. There can be vampire hunters, and even some like vampires. 3. Romancing in character is fine, just don't get too carried away... 4. Fights are often to the death. Before going into a fight, ask if it is okay with the other player. Example: Kim: [[Hey, Joey, is it okay if we have a one on one battle?]] Joey: [[Sure Kim! I'll post first.]] 5. In Were Wolf vs. Vampire stuff, try to refrain from killing one character without letting them post a defense. Say Kim is about to make the finishing move in a fight against Joey, but Joey doesn't want his charrie to die. Stop right before the finishing move, so they can post a defense. Maybe Joey moves out of the way just in time. ;D 6. Now... Magic. I will allow magic, but be resonable. Like, don't make a god of all things and have him/her rain down a firery death upon every were wolf there ever lived.
CHARACTERS
Nikki (were wolf) - eilsling Rafeal (human) - Rafiki ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[[ Lol I was writing so fast I messed up my post, and skipped words. It should be fixed now. ]]
Nikki sat in her home, dreading the night. All the curtains were closed. Only a little sliver of moonlight came into the room. Nikki tried as hard as she could to stay away from it, but it was drawing her closer and closer. She closed her eyes, not wanting to know when it would start to happen. Her heartbeat rose, she twitched rapidly, slowly turing into a white and silver wolf. She had been scratched 250 years ago by a dark creature. The scar was still on her left forearm. She would forever have the curse of the wolf. She belonged to the Shining Clan, a unique breed of were wolf. They can think clearly, and remember who their friends are. They also have high agility, close to that of a cat's. But all gifts come with a sacrifice. The transformation from human to wolf is incredibly painful. "NO!!" Nikki screamed as she was turned into a wolf by the little sliver of moonlight. Once a wolf, the smell of people in the streets of New York City came clear. She bounded out of a window, her mouth dripping with saliva. She was on all fours, many of her kind are. She tipped her head back and let out a howl, followed by others of her kind howling with her. The hunt had started.

[[ I'll be using my main charrie, Rafael: For all intents and purposes, he is a human, caught in the middle of the fight, and thus is one of the few humans insane enough to revel in were/vamp deathmatches. He hasn't taken a side against another yet, but because vampires are able to differentiate "friend" from foe 100% of the time, (Though they still might not be so friendly) may end up hooking up with that crew later on. ]]

The mirror-black rolls royce phantom turned down a less-traveled street. The windows, blacker and shinier than obsidian, glared once as the light of a dying streetlight flickered off of them just so. The car picked up pace, until it hit a break in the buildings: central park. There were no people out in the magnificent (and quite dead) park at this ungodly hour; the 5-inch deep snow continued to swell, as fresh snowflakes plummeted to earth, whiter than fresh cotton. The car skidded once, hitting a patch of ice. It skidded to a stop within an empty parking space almost as if by luck, and the door opened a second later. Out of the car materialized a giant of a man, standing at over 6'5" and nearly 2' wide. His broad chest and broad arms rippled as he inhaled deeply, looking around for familiar signs. Signs that no normal, inattentive New-Yorker would ever notice. "It should be started by now...." He thought, looking up into the night sky. It was blacker than pitch, with such a thick layer of inky black clouds blotting out the moon almost ominously. Still, this h00mun knew where the moon would be at this time, from practice alone. He shut the car door and locked the extravigant car, turning on it in an instant. Ease of mind was expensive, at almost an additional $50,000 in security addition. Still, noone short of a person armed with explosives could force their way in. It was good; the car contained many horrible secrets that would ruin life as some new it. Among the unmentionables was a very thick file containing the identities and photos of several vampires AND wolves. Very abnormal indeed....
The human's heavy black boots made loud crunching noises, as they hit the fresh snow. The spiked soles ensured plenty of purchase; he would not slip at some inopportune moment, thanks to them. A passerby might've been curious as to why he was looking this way and that, but there were none, so his motives were unquestioned. They did not know what this human knew, and this human knew that a storm of hell was about to make landfall here in the graveyard-silent park.

[[ *shivers* GREAT intro... I'm jealous lol ]] Nikki sniffed the cold air as snowflakes fell from the stars. Her white coat shone brightly in the moonlight. Other wolves gathered around her, the different coats shining magnificently. Her light blue eyes resembledthat of a crystal. Her hair was black as night, having a blue tint to it. Nikki hated the transformation she had to go through when turning wolf. She did, however, enjoy running free in the night air, the smell of your prey's fear, their heartbeat slowing... the bloody mess after a kill... Nikki loved it all. The other wolves around her looked at each other, nodding. It was time. The lead wolf ran out into the dark street, searching for some lost soul to feed on. Nikki was not far behind. She let out a yip of excitement and joy as she picked up speed. Suddenly they all stopped in their tracks. Nikki sniffed the air, smelling him. Rafeal. The most dangerous hunter the were wolves had ever confronted. The pack looked at each other, their face seemed to ask, "Do you smell him too?" Then the wolves looked to their leader for directions. The lead wolf slowly walked into the dark street. Reluctantly, Nikki followed.

It was quite a while longer before Raf ever heard any of them, even to his (by human standards) acute hearing. They were trying to be unusually quiet this night; he realized they were out hunting. The next was that there were no others nearby, and he was the only one in the park. "Well dang...." He thought mildly inconvinienced. He would be out longer than expected. "They should be here, by now....." He thought. A totally silent shadow, that flitted from behind a bench to behind a frozen fountain caught his eye. "A little later than usual...." He thought, relieved he may not be facing the pack alone this night. He knew that these vampires, 3 of them, were well aware of the impending attack. Raf silently sulked a bit, for a few moments. It sucked being without an ub3r-sw33t sensory array.
Still, business was business, and the night was still young. He knew the pack was going to be out this night, and the vampires paid well for this information, indeed. Both sides bore a general uneasiness, and grudging acceptance of this lone human, as smart, dangerous, and cunning as he was. He lead a mercenary-esque lifestyle, and the dangers were well worth the pay. He privately enjoyed the risks, but that was another matter.
Two simultaneous glints of silver flashed breifly. They were a pair of immense .50 magnums, that fired (of course) silver-tipped ammunition. Their size and decoration seemed almost fictional, but they were the main things that kept his neck from fangs, or his innards from maws. That, and his silver-lined warddrobe. "Better hurry up and get this done...." He thought. He was certain the vampires would bide their time, for the moment. He was waiting for the much more exciteable wolves to make a move.

Nikki's heart raced as the bullet passed her just barely. In this light, the human would have a har time seeing. This was a nice advantage. Nikki ran around the park, passing under a few street lamps. The other wolves of her pack started to circle the lone hunter aswell. A massive wolf emergeded from the darkness, known as Zorn. He was infact, the pack leader.
Zorn was stronger than any of the elders in the neighbor packs. He once slaughtered fifteen humans in one night. All the humans were armed with silver bullets. One scar from his left ear all the way down to his right cheek gave him a dark look. His coat was mostly black, except for a ancient sign on his chest, white in color. The sign could be translated to a an ancient monster, known to terrorize the village folk. The monster's off spring are told to be the ancestors of the modern-day were wolves.*
Zorn tipped his head back and laughed, mocking the hunter. He had surely lost his mind. "Well well well. Rafeal, isn't it? I've heard alot about you." Zorn snickered, his voice crackleing. He looked over to the shining silver bullet. "I see you brought some toys." The wolf said, a toothy smile creeping on his face.
The wolves stopped running, surrounding the human in a large circle. Every one of them was surely thinking, "He msut be mad!".
[[ Sure! I want to make this a pretty open RP. Just don't go crazy on the magic. Like, don't make a god of all things and have him/her rain down a firery death upon every were wolf there ever lived. XD Ill add that into the rules. ]]

"Well, I brought more than just toys, pup." Raf said, grinning as he flicked another freshly loaded spinning cylinder into the magnums. Out of the shadows, 4 clearly powerful vampires, and a random assortment of 5-6 normal vampires came out, and encircled the wolves' circle. This time, the vampires laughed their oddly snake-like laughter, each anxious for the gut-spilling to begin. Raf took one look at the wolves infront of him, his gaze falling on the leader. "Well, 2 arch-enemy factions right here in the middle of nowhere. You know the drill guys." Raf said, speaking as much to the wolves as the vampires. Not .2 seconds after his final syllable, the silver magnum was in the air, and had fired the battle's first shot.

Zorn's eyes widened, mouth agait. He had felt so confident, then in five seconds the bravery was replaced with fear. One were wolf of his strength could take down one of the normal vampires, with great difficultie. Now, behind him were masters of the dark arts. Even he had not yet mastered his powers, in his three hundred years of life. He was even more surprised when he was shot in the shoulder. For a split second he just looked at the wound, confused. Then his shoulder was infected with intense pain. He let out a soft yip, and picked up his paw. The less weight he had on his shoulder, the less painful it would be. By now steam raised up from the wound as the silver burned his flesh. Zorn narrowed his eyes and looked back at Rafeal with hatred and rage. The wolf lept out at the man foolishly, unable to control his anger.
Nikki looked around her at the surronding vampires. She knew when she was beat. She was strongest with the advantage of speed, but against this many vampires, she didn't stand a chance. Nikki scanned the park, looking for good sabotage places where she would have the advantages. None stood out. The park was bare, one water fountain, a few plants... Nothing she could use. She turned to the vampire behind her, not a very powerful one. She might be able to feed after all. Nothing upsets a hunter more than being hunted. "This is gonna be fun." Nikki whispered to the wolf next to her, who was obviously nervous. The wolf next to her just gave her an annoyed look that seemed to say, "Are you nuts?"

Asclepieus: Asmoedieus: Aranathanor: Aavardinus: Dorf: Meet the 4 I told you about. I actually want it to be 3, instead. Incase you can't figure it out, the 4th brother, Aavardinus, isn't a fighter at heart. Their "father", Dorf, is the reigning vampire. Dorf, Asclepieus, Aesmoedieus, and Aranathanor all can control fire in their attacks. Each has a different fighting style. Aavardinus may end up being a good vampire later on in life, but he controlls ice rather than fire. You can probably tell the others don't like him very well. ************************ The fight begun in ernest, with both parties only trading gauging blows to see what the other was like. Rafael simply side-stepped the older wolf, stuck a silver shuriken in his back, and then ran through the entire gathering. For the most part, his lot in this fight was over, as he'd completed his end of the deal. Still, he hid somewhere to watch the carnage, as he usually did. Ascelpieus, like the shadow of a midnight cheetah, danced through the convulsing, writhing mass of battling were-wolves, his magical long-sword slashing and cutting with scalpel-ease. The sword was, like his brothers' weapons, made for graceful, brutal killing, faster than most eyes could see. A random pack runt rushed at him, inexperienced and sloppily trying to bat him down. With three light side-steps, his blade kissed the young fool's throat. He stood again, full of anger and hate--- then surprise, as he reached to his throat, realizing he'd been fatally wounded. Desperately clamping onto his own throat with his hands in a futile attempt to staunch the flow of life from a wound paper-cut thin, yet nearly deep enough to decapitate him. Ascelpieus watched for a fleeting moment, as the last glints of life faded from the runt's eyes. He was off once more, slicing and slashing like a nightmare ninja among the shadows of the night. Aesmoedieus roared and yelled, wildly as he hacked and slashed, tearing apart his foes with his hand-spike, and broad-sword. His fighting style was much less refined, almost more like street-fighting crossed with some hellish form of dual weapon combat. He was temporarily beyond retrieval, at the moment. He'd lapsed into a blood-drunk rage, ignoring the few random lucky blows against his chest and back, that did nothing anyway, only succeeding in tearing small shreds in his thickly dressed and armored torso. "MOME ON KUTTS!!! FMIGHT FEE!!" He yelled, so wildly possessed, he couldn't even speak properly. Aranathanor floated higher above the fighting, a nightmarish glowing red spectre, his spear in hand. "Yyeirvantagmag"!! He calmly chanted, his free hand outstretched. Though his entire body was aflame, and the burning yellow fires licked at his skin and hair, not a single singe or burn could be found on him. His outstretched hand temporarily glowed purple-ish blue, and a moment later, a loud, surreal warping sound blared, as a fiery red fire-ball the size of a basketball right at a group of wolves. They wisely scattered like roaches, but the following explosion from the fireball hitting caught several of their tales and backs on fire. "Yjwaisei hyauailael!" He chanted, not stumbling on the odd words. With a slow wave of his hand, he called forth a continuious wave of fire, flame-throwing onto the entire battle. The vampires were unhurt, but the wolves were indeed another story. "Hoieuli'aea". He grunted, waving his hand again, single index-finger outstretched. Nearly 20 minute, golf-ball-sized fireballs flew forth, chain-gun fashion. They did nothing more than singe their targets, as if a cigar was extinguished against their skin. It was a minor inconvienience that could cost several their lives, if they dwelled on this latest wound too much.

Zorn stumbled for a moment, his sight bluring, as if in a dream. Time slowed as this wolf took his last breaths. A group of wolves rushed to his aid, Nikki being one of them. Zorn ripped off the dog tag that hung around his neck, and threw it at his son's feet. His son, Efrafa, stared down at the dog tag, desperately trying to swallow his tears. Zorn smiled at his son, and said, "Efrafa... the prince of a thousand enemies... My Efrafa-rah. " Then, the great leader Zorn, was no more.
Efrafa licked his father's cheek, hoping he would take another breath. But he did not. "Father... No... No father! Get up..." Efrafa whispered, trying to encourage a dead corpse. A single tear ran down Efrafa's face. He then turned to the dog tag, and picked it up. It read "leader". Efrafa placed it around Zorn's neck. "And the great king, shall rise no more." The wolf said, his voice crackleing from his emotions. He left his father there, and howled to the others. Most wolves returned, but some had fallen in battle. They all bowed down to Efrafa, and he smiled. The new king gave a short bark, low in pitch. This meant "reatreat".
Nikki nodded at her new king's orders. Efrafa was kinder, gentler, than Zorn. This would surely change. She could already sense a fire of hatred burning in Efrafa's soul. He would avenge his father. As her king trotted off into the night, she followed, looking back at the fallen wolves. One vampire had fallen, the one rookie she took down. He was not dead, but he was injured. The other vampires there had controled fire... Could she do that? Nikki made a mental note of researching that and practicing that.
The pack ran ahead, only Nikki looked back. Bu she soon realized that she put herself in danger by doing so. So she ran ahead, catching up to her pack. They were lucky, the vampires would do anything to rid this world of were wolves. They had only lost a few wolves, and one king. Who would they lose next?
The pack decided to feed, needing to heal their injuries. Over the years were wolves have developed, learning much from their enemies. Now they can heal themselves almost as quickly as vampires, they need only to feed first. The pack killed two mortals that night, having less mouths to feed than before. Funny, Nikki didn't even know the names of who she was eating. But they were tasty!

The wolves left in a great uproar, eager to flee the delicately deadly slashes of the ninja, the wild brutal butchering of the berzerker, and the flaming d00m of the mage. In the end, the vampires remained in the park, silently broodin the stalemate between them and their much hated enemies. It wasn't a loss by any margin, but even though their older leader had kicked the bucket, the victory meant little, to they who would fight to the last against the last. Raf suddenly appeared to them, who were at first ready to attack, but digressed a split second later, when their keen senses figured out who it was. "You guys didn't suck this time." Raf said, mild suprise in his voice minutely beginning to file away on their nerves. "Stuff it, human." The flame-thrower commanded. "Ah ah ah!" Raf said, as they began to close in around him. "I'm both you and the wolves life-lines against each other, remember?" He asked, grinning when they just as suddenly digressed again. He had both parties by the throats, and they knew it. He would supply information of the wolves to the vampires, and likewise the vampires to the wolves. Nobody would dare make a move against him.... Yet. "The last of your fee is transferred, filth. What more do you want?" He barked, as the berzerking brother came to the circle, plastered in blood and ichor, and a gigantic smile. "Thanks for that tip, human." He said, considerably more lighthearted than the rest. "I haven't scrapped in too long." He said, as Raf dug in his pocket. "State your wishes or begone!" The flame-caster snapped, flustered by the now re-prolonged war. "How about a light?" He asked, producing a cigar. The flame-caster's eyes narrowed to almost invisible slits, in his venomous glare. "Hae". He snarled. His index finger blossomed a tiny flare, that lanced out, and connected with the edge of the cigarrette, glowed bright red, then disspiated. The cigarrette lit, and began to glow merrily by itself. Raf bowed a sarcastic thanks, stuck it in his mouth, then turned on the berzerker's maniacal laughter at such a ballsy move on the humans part. The third simply stayed quiet, staring at them all.
Raf hit the car, then drove for what seemed like only two minutes, pulling up beside an alley. "Alright, I know you guys are there." Raf said, calling out to the wolves he knew hid in the shadows. "It's your turn to get the info on the next strike." He said, grinning and shaking the ash off his dying smoke.
[[ I don't it real life, for all intents and purposes. ]]

Efrafa emerged from the darkness, blood dripping from his jaws. "You are not very wise to disturb my eating. Do you not remeber you caused my father's death?" he snarled, fire burning in his eyes. Efrafa glared at the human, his patience thinning.
Nikki shook her head, still hiding in the darkness. She would help guide the foolish Efrafa for the time being. She jumped out of the shadows, sliding inbetween Rafeal and Efrafa. "What is it you want? We know such information does not come free." She said, trying to act cool.

"Your father was a fool to attack me, instead of his foes, whom he should have been watching for." Raf growled, instantly revelling in the nerve struck as rage contorted the wolf's face. "And I'm here to tell you something I know you will be interested." He said in a more business-like tone, checking out the new protege. He thought about making several remarks, but decided it wasn't worth his time. She seemed a little more demure than the newer one, which was an instant plus; Raf didn't know almost any weres who weren't quick to anger. "I'm calling in your.... unique services. Again." He said, a small grin spreading across his face. "The only reason people don't routinely shoot you all dead, is your resistance to mundane bullet loads like lead, brass, copper, what have you." He said, flicking his butt into a nearby snow-drift. It died instantly. "I need your trackers to locate somebody who's..... wronged.... a "friend"." He said, holding up the lower half of a tie. It was spotted with spatters of blood, which could easily have been well over 6 days old. It's scent would not elude the keen nose of a were, even in the 2nd most populous city on earth. "I need you to find the living place of this man. Chances are he's recovered from the minor nick I gave him when I "retrieved" this bit of evidence. Find him, and I'll spill on the vampires." Raf said.

[[ Sure Rosalie! I'm sorry I can't be on more frequently, but I'll try to get on at least once a day. ]] Efrafa snorted, trying to control his temper. He paced a little, while Nikki continued to handle the situation. The rest of the pack revealed themselves, keeping their distance from Rafeal. Nikki took a sniff of the air, just from curiostity. Sniffing wasn't her strongest ability, but they did have one wolf in the pack who was known for his nose. "Ikiriss." Nikki called, looking behind her slightly. A old wolf approached slowly and clumsly. His fur had a red look to it, which made his black nose stand out far more than the others'. Ikriss knew what to do. He came up to Rafeal, braver than the rest of the wolves. He had seen his share humans, and they all looked the same to him now. He was going blind, and had trouble seeing walls and pillars. But his sense of smell was far better than any creature, mortal or imortal. He sniffed the object Rafeal held, and his expression changed. He knew this smell, having come across it not to long ago. He did not know who had left it, but it had been around his territory before. "So, I have to find this person before you give us the information?" He asked. Ikriss was frail and old. He did not have the strength to fight, and did not want to be put in any danger. Ikriss looked back to Nikki, whom he trusted. She nodded, as if to say, "Do it, for your pack." He turned his head to Rafeal and mumbled, "This information better be good. I'm not as strong as I used to be, kid." [[Ikriss is suposed to be a VERY old were.
