She smiled and looked a her feet as she walked. She couldnt wait until later.

Jiang gently took her hand in his, kissed Yasmeen lightly on her muzzle, then led her out of the building and onto the gardens overlooking the surrounding hills. Once they were in the relative privacy of the outdoors area, he gently turned her around so that she was facing him. "I've never felt this way for someone before..." He whispered, gazing into her eyes.

"I'm glad too..." Jiang replied, looking back into her eyes and smiling. For the first time in years, he was [finally] at peace. The Tiger purred softly and nuzzled Yasmeen's cheek, then passionatly kissed her. He didn't care if anyone saw them now, he was too deep in love to care.
*Meanwhile, at a Mountain Fortress located at the end of the next valley...* "But Master, is stealing the Sacred Scrolls of all the Temples really such a wise tactic?" A short cheetah asked, looking up at the Black Panther towering over him. The Panther glanced down at the cheetah, and slowly nodded. "Indeed it is. It is said that whoever gathers all the scrolls and unites them into one shall receive unlimited power. When I unite the scrolls, I shall destroy all our foes, and restore our Sanctuaries to their rightful owners." The Panther replied softly, looking out over the Xi Valley from his perch atop one of the Fortress walls. "One of the Temples has dispatched a pair of Monks to retrieve their scroll. The Warrior who took it from them has not yet managed to make it out of the Xi Valley. Send... Four of our finest Warriors to retrieve him and the Scroll. Then we can direct all our efforts to retrieving the Scroll which was stolen from us... I have been told that it resides in the care of a lowly baker, in the village laying in the next valley." He commanded, turning and leaping down from his post. The Cheetah sighed and shook his head. "Of course, Master Yi Shan." He mumbled, more to himself than to anyone else. The spotted feline bounded off, to dispatch the four warriors: Two Jaguars, a Wolf, and a Monkey. Within minutes, the group had been sent to the Valley, racing on Horseback at good speed. They would be there soon... Too soon.

[[ The first 2-3 gotta fluke their way outta the fight, if you would. Like having a dislodged rock come and squash them all. Like I said; they're basically temple gardeners/cooks/go-fors/etc. I don't want to god-mod 2 secretary-esque messenger boys into being Jet li and jackie chan vs. x4 Bruce Lee's..... ]]
Kung Lao and Liu Kang both bowed and thanked an old farmer, a Siamese cat, who had offered them a ride in his ox-pulled wagon. Through his good will, they had shaved off almost a half a day's run through the countryside, while he was given escourt through a notorious bandit pass. Though he refused their offers of help returning all the way home in gratitude, Kung Lao "forgot" 10 coins of gold in the cart's left seat, anyway.
"Hmmm. Darkness falls, and will soon be completely upon us...." Liu said, looking behind them, to the setting sun. "I estimate another half hour of sunlight. I vote we stop, and make a camp until tomorrow, and begin early again." Kung Lao said, turning to look up the hill they were half way up. They decided to crest the hill, and then stopped, after eating a dinner of dumplings and salt/dried carp chunks. A slice of salted plum later, Kung sat next to a fire, under a tree, while Liu climbed easily above, and readied their sleeping hammocks. Kung lao tossed up their walking staffs, and climbed up himself, after thoroughly snuffing the fire.

(yay!)
Eagle was walking around enjoying some air after finishing a meal before he noticed the 4 riders coming though the town he didn't have his armor or most of his weapons all he had was his short sword witch he always had with him it was a 3 foot long sword made with a extremely rare & light metal from a small island near Japan witch was stronger than steel and the blade was black with small blue markings witch spelled the sword's name near the bottom of the blade near the hilt. the good side is that it was his favorite weapon and was most skilled with it (wow like in fable)

On the flipside, Kung Lao and Liu Kang carried no true weapons yet. They DID carry each carry an ornately decorated utility staff, which could also double as a cudgel. Each was made of a dark red, sun-hardened wood, treated to keep it's superior strength, yet retain a regal finish. The tops, which were both the same size, a head and a half taller than their carriers, were coated in a semi-thick layer of an exceptionally hardy and lusterous silvery metal, which could cave in a skull given sufficient force. The bottom tapered to a small, flat-topped point, also coated in the same metal. Each was an inch and a half in diameter, and both trailed two 3-foot long ribbons, blue and red, and tied through a loop in the metal cap at the top end.
Kang caught the tossed poles, and secured them into the tree's branches, while Lao shimmied up the tree, and landed in his hammock, while Kang did likewise. Neither really decided they would need a watch, so both of them just ended up covering themselves with the flap each hammock had, sewn onto it, and were asleep in moments. Their packs hung high above, though not too high that they would be left in an emergency.

The group of Warriors decided their efforts would be served best if they split up. The monkey and one of the Jaguars headed towards the very hill Liu Kang and Kung Lao made their camp upon, while the wolf and the other Jaguar headed straight towards Eagle, intent on simply asking him if he knew of the Dragon's Inn, and what the quickest way to reach it would be. [For all the warriors were under strict orders to avoid a fight if at all possible.]
The Jaguar and the Monkey quickly reached the tree, and upon examining the recently extinguished fire, decided that they should search for the ones who were responsible for it. The Jaguar searched around the base of the tree, while the Monkey clambered up and right into Liu Kang's hammock, on accident, as it had been hard to see in the dim evening light. "Crap, TIGER!" The monkey yelped, attempting to jump free but instead getting his foot snagged the cloth flap of the Hammock. [There ya go Raf, they're divided, and your chars only have to deal with one warrior. {The Monkey isn't gonna put up much of a fight}]

Kang was jarred loose, from his hammock so harshly that he barely had time to scream. The wild thrashing the monkey did knocked him off his own bed, and tangled his left ankle. Only then did he notice the offending monkey, on equal terms. "Intruders!!" Kung lao bellowed, woken by the monkey's scream. Kang already knew this of course, and began to use what little mantis-boxing he could, to fight the monkey, inverted with one leg tied suspended from a tree, with no help and only Kung Lao in the way of the Jaguar's advance.
As quick thinking as Kang was, Lao snatched his own staff and leapt from the tree, coming to a halt infront of the Jaguar. The pointy tip was away from the Jaguar, the much more dangerous and heavier cudgle-style point of the staff levelled in the Jaguar's direction. "Theives! What fullfillment can you possibly achieve by robbing two wayfarers of their few possesstions?" He demanded, while Kang grappled and fought as best he could with the much more nimble monkey.

Unfortunatly, the Monkey's style of fighting was not much of a match for Mantis-style. He took blow upon blow, and was only able to retaliate thanks to his lightening speed and agility. After a little while, he managed to get his paws around Kang's neck, and begin to [attempt to] choke the life out of the tiger.
The Jaguar merely snarled in response, while clenching his fists and dropping into a Tiger-style fighting stance. He leapt at Lao, not even caring about the cudgel the Panda wielded. It was no match for 200 pounds of charging Jaguar, since the beast would simply shrug off the first few blows. The Jaguar failed to notice that the tree was right behind Lao, and a bit of creative dodging on Lao's part would have interesting, and painful, results for the Jaguar.

With a lightning move, Kung side-dodged--- A little. As he dodged, the staff twirled. It caught in the base of the tree securely, as he'd intended, blunt-side first. Now, the pointy tip, though still about half the diameter of a dime, was aimed right up at the careless Jaguar's entire body, mid-jump. Interia would work against him, and he would spit himself upon it, like a kebab over a fire.
[[ And it's up to you if he really does get stuck, or if something goes wrong to negate the effect of the defense. ]]

The Jaguar spotted the defense a moment too late. He roared in shock, then, in pain as the staff's point sank into his right breast, narrowly avoiding his lung and ribs as it pierced through him. He groaned in pain and attempted to extricate himself from the staff, but it was to no avail. It was too securely lodged in him. He swung his left fist at Kung's face, and managed to land a glancing blow on the Panda's cheek. But that was the extent of the fight left in the Jaguar. He fell silent, panting heavily and glaring at Kung, waiting for his end to come, or for mercy to be dealt and for him to simply be trussed up and interrogated later. "You're friend is choking. I suggest you tend to him first, then decided what to do with me." He hissed, trying to stave off death as much as possible.
The Monkey screeched triumphantly, sensing that he was managing to strangle the Tiger with surprisingly little effort. He just hoped that the Jaguar finished off Kung, before the Panda noticed that his buddy was being choked. But life just had to go and get FUBAR on him, for the Jaguar was immobilized, and the Panda was bound to come up and tear his limbs off any second now.

~Alternate reality~
*Winds up w./gnasher shotgun in hand; CURB STOMP*
~Reality~
In no sweet, sensitive way was the spear fiercely and painfully torn from the Jaguar's chest, and neither would the hovering foot above his head. Before it came crashing down though, Lao had to abandon his previous intentions to help Kang. He suspected the gurgling grunting sounds akin to a throat being held too tightly, and turned to see his earlier conviction to be true. Thus, the spear was brought down, tail first in a certain region of the monkey's anatomy, specificly the lowest point of the "V" the upside down monkey's legs made, hoping he was not too late, and that the monkey would loosen his grip.
[[ Edit to spear: Their staffs both now has a large, pear-shaped solid metal ball at the top, to balance it out/give it extra hitting power in a swing. ]]

The Jaguar groaned and grated his teeth as the staff was yanked from him. He collapsed onto the ground, taking deep, labored breaths as he attempted somewhat successfully to stop the flow of blood from his wound.
Mr. Monkey made a incredibly funny face when the staff wacked him between the legs. He made a odd noise halfway between a swear and a gurgle, then he released the Tiger's neck and dangled there, dazed.

Now unhassled, Kang spent only 10 seconds to work himself free, still coughing and gagging, from the pressure on his throat. The very next thing on his agenda was to don his own spear, and jump down to rejoin Kung lao, who had already bound the monkey with the chords he'd already entangled himself in. The Jaguar, who'd made a futile attempt at crawling away, was dragged the three feet of progress he'd made, and tossed against the tree, both spears poised at the entry of the fresh wound. "Now. Give us an reason we shouldn't slay you on the spot." Kung lao demanded, as Kang searched for other agressors.

The Monkey glared at the Jaguar, as if attempting to tell the warrior to shut up. But the Jaguar wasn't in the mood to die. "I am Li. I and my... Ally... Were dispatched by our master to find and recover one of our order's scribes, who is resting somewhere near here. We stopped to investigate this fire, and while I was on the ground, Monkey went and got us into a fight." He replied, glaring back at the Monkey.
The Monkey rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Master Yi-Shan will not let you get away with this, you fool! We'll both be punished!" He hissed angrily at Li. Li just shrugged and shook his head. "So? As long as I live to watch my daughter grow up, I'm happy.

"Do not be so sure of that." Kung Lao snapped, jabbing the Jaguar once for good emphasis. "And why would divulging something so trivial as an errand be punishable by your masters?" Liu Kang asked, more calmly than Lao. "Even the most venerable masters of the biggest temples have no need of secrecy.... Or sending their followers out to pillage travelers." He said, and did nothing as Kung lao jabbed him again. In his shape, he could do nothing about it. "You are up to no good, I can tell. Your "Scribe" would not have been foolish enough to neglect telling you where he was, before he sent for you unless he too was trying to hide from someone." Lao snarled.

The Monkey opened his mouth to belt out some excuse, but Li slapped the monkey across the face with his muscular tail. "No more lies, Monkey. I'm sickened by them. I've had ENOUGH of Master Yi-Shan's plotting." He stated calmly, turning his gaze back up at Lao, just before he got jabbed again. "Knock that the hell off, Panda. I never wanted to get into a fight, just because my over-zealous compatriot here stumbled into you." He growled, narrowing his eyes. He wanted badly to stand up and show that he wasn't as weak as he appeared, but he decided that it was one of those times when being humble paid off. "Look, this... 'Scribe' is actually a thief our master paid to steal a scroll from some temple. I think it was one of the Shaolin ones. He made it to the Dragon Inn, but apparently he won't come any closer to Dragon Peak, for fear of being captured. Which is impossible, he's just paranoid that Master Yi-Shan will kill him the moment he gets the scroll. I can't say I blame the Scribe for his fear. The Master has been going... Well, crazy. All he talks about is avenging his son, and humbling the other Masters." Li said, being completly honest. "Now, do with me as you will, I am tired and have told you all I know. Let me live, or take my life." He stated, tilting his head up and exposing his neck, making for a easy kill if the Traveler's so desired to take his life.
