[[ Sw33t. The tiger is Liu Kang, And the Panda is Kung lao. Both are young men at the ages of 16, and are care-takers of the local shaolin temple, if there is one. They don't train to the degree the shaolin monks do, but they are proficient with melee combat. The master they learned some of their art from is another fat old panda, Bo'Rai'cho, who used to be one of the greater martial artists of his province, and is their current mentor. He might be a recurring character later on. Yes, I know. I'm nuts. ]]

Yasmeen smiled and followd him to the Stable. she loved horses. She used to have 4 of them. but she had to let them all go so they wouldnt get hurt. She smiled as he got on and nodded. She wrppaed her arms around his waist and gently rested her head on his back. It made her feel more comfortable and safe. She did watch around them as things passed. she had never been there before. It was a very cool surrounding. She smiled and looked at the side of Jiang. She smiled and gripped just a little more around his waist. Not to tight though. She smiled again and rested her head back on his back.

[Like Ziger said... Yes, you are nuts. But it's OK, we love nuts! Just toss yourself in wherever you can]
Jiang lead the horse at a steady jog down the road leading out of town, until they reached the exit of the Valley. There was a small Wayshrine on the right, for traveling Monks and Warriors. "We can stop here and rest for the night, or press on. If we go on, we should reach the Valley by midnight. It's your choice, I don't care either way."

Yasmeen smiled and shrugged. "Why dont we just stay here for tonight. It might be easier." she said softly. She looked at the horse. It looked tired and as though it may pass out qt any moment. She smiled and looked at Jiang. He ws so cute...and he was so kind. She gave him a small hug and then let go of his waist and looked aorund. It was a really nice place over here. She was glad Jiang asked her to come.

Jiang nodded and laughed very softly as she hugged his waist. He looked back at Yasmeen, and nuzzled her cheek. He hadn't laughed like that in years. It felt good. He slowly got off the horse, then helped Yasmeen down. He removed his pack from the faithful equine's saddle, then lead the creature into the Wayshrine's stable. With that done, he took Yasmeen's hand in his and lead her into the temple, which looked more Japanese than Chinese, for some reason. After paying the Wayshrine's office several silver, he and Yasmeen followed the Wayshrine attendant to their room. Since they had only just met, Jiang had paid for two beds. But upon opening the door and going in, they discovered that they had only one. "Hmmm... I'll take the floor, if you wish." He sighed, smiling at Yasmeene as he closed the bamboo and paper door behind them.
He set his pack down behind the raised bed, then stood by the bed smiling at her, waiting for her to make her choice. It wasn't time to sleep yet, but it was best to get this settled before that time arrived.

Yasmeen smiled when he grabbed her hand. She smiled and looked at the room. She shrugged. "No...your not sleeping on the floor." she said smiling. She looked around and then stared at Jiang. She smiled and looked at the floor. She wanted to go over and give him a big hug. She didnt thugh. She just sat at the edge of the bed and smiled. "Unless you want to." she said softly. She laughed softly and looked at her feet. She like him..and she knew more then a friend.

Jiang chuckled softly and nodded. "Well, alright then. Guess we're sharing the bed." He replied with a laugh, as he walked back to Yasmeen. He couldn't help but think of how much he liked her... Yet he barely knew Yasmeen. There were emotions in Jiang that he hadn't felt for a very long time. "Ummm... It's dinnertime, let's go get something to eat." He said, smiling a little at her. He opened the door for her and smiled, waiting for her to lead him out. Slowly but surely, the barriers around his heart were coming tumbling down.

Yasmeen smiled and stood up. she walked ut the door and smiled. On the way out, she grabbed his hand lightly and winked at him. She walked next to him holding his hand. "So where are we going?" she asked softly looking up at him. He was so cute. She deffinately liked him. She sighed happily and stopped them both for a moment. She turned and then gently gave im a small kiss. She then turned back around and let them both continue walking. She smiled and looked at Jiang and smiled looking back at her feet.

Jiang smiled as he felt Yasmeen's delicate hand wrap around his. He had just about opened his muzzle to reply to her question, but before he knew it she was giving him a short kiss. He purred very softly and happily, then he placed two fingers on the side of her muzzle and gently tilted her head so that she was looking at him again. He gazed into her eyes for a moment, then wrapped his arms around her, hugged her close, and kissed her back.
When it was over, he nodded his head towards a hall leading away from their room. "Down there's the dining hall." He replied, a genuinely content smile on his face. He'd have to talk more with her about what they felt for each other... If his hunch was right, then they had strong feelings for one another, which would be great.

Yasmeen smiled at his kiss and looked down the hall. "Oh...okay." SHe said smiling. She looked around and held his hand and walked down the hall to the dinning room. They were seated in a little booth in the corner. There was absolutely no one near them. She liked that. She smiled at Jiang and looked him in the eyes. She winked again and looked aorund the place. Her eyes always met back to his. She couldnt help it. She cleared her throat and looked at her hands.

Jiang smiled at her from across the table. She held his gaze perfectly. He hardly even noticed when one of the cooks came and served them two bowls of pork fried rice, along with two smaller bowls of egg flower soup. He opened his mouth to say something, then closed it and smiled. For lack of a better idea, the Tiger started eating his food, taking care to observe as many social niceties as possible while eating.

Yasmeen smiled and ate a little of the rice. She couldn't stop thinking about the kissess. She looked at him and smiled. He gaze went back down to her rice and soup. She moved her ricer and took a few more bites. She then looked at Jiang. "Jiang.....I...Im guessing you figured this out..but. I like you...." she said softly...she looked at Jiang and then at her food. She thought maybe it was to early top tell him that. But it ewas true.

Jiang stopped eating and looked up at Yasmeene, a anxious expression on his face and his ears perked up inquistively. His anxiousness dissapeared after a moment, and he smiled warmly at her. "I care for you, too." He replied quietly but happily, sitting up straight and letting his ears twitch back into their usual, laidback posture.

Yasmeen smiled and continued to eat her rice. Her heart pounded. She was positive that he could hear it from where he was sitting. She ate her some more of her soup. There was a smile plastered on her face. She knew that it was never going away. She liked him so much. Jiang was a great guy. He made her feel whole again and if though she does matter in the world. She was always put down by her parents. She sighed and looked at Jiang and smiled.

Jiang could hear the faint pounding of Yasmeen's heart. He was glad hers was pounding, if he was lucky it'd drown out the sound of his own heart. He finished off what was left of his bowl of soup, not really caring about how excellent the flavor was. He was too busy thinking about Yasmeen. And how he felt genuienly content and happy around her.

Two figures, [ wearing the exact same clothes here, that they did in the Mortal Kombat video games ] both laden with packs of provisions for the journey jogged through the streets, slowly making their way out to the city gates. Neither of them were of the same species, but each considered the other a brother, which is why they constantly watched over the other, especially now that they would begin this perilous journey through the country-side. The safety of the city was cut off from them in an imtimidatingly symbolic way; the city's large wooden doors creaked shut and slammed together, with a loud boom, echoing slightly by the brass door ringers swinging shut on the door itself as well. The two guards both nodded in their direction and wished them a safe journey, then resumed maoneuvers by hoisting their massive pikes up directly into the air, and marching.
"May our ancestors watch over us on this journey..." The slightly taller one murmered, as they began their brisk jog along the shrubby path away from the city, and nimbly stepping over the deep wagon ruts, as well as avoiding large piles of manure from cattle brought into the city. "Indeed. We will need the favor of the spirits to return to the temple with the scroll master Bo'Rai'Cho sent us to retrieve. With luck, it will still be there." The smaller, more shabbily dressed tiger agreed, adjusting the straw cone hat he wore, to shield his head from the sun's rays. They trekked onward.

Yasmeen smiled as he finished. She finished to and leaned back aginst the chair. She smiled and crossed her arms happily. She then leaned forward after they took their plates. She leaned on her elbows slightly and looked into his eyes. She opened her muzzle to speak but she closed it. She sighed gain and looked at the table. She couldnt stop smiling. It was now something she was always going to do .

Jiang smiled as the now-empty plates were taken from the table. "I think that I'm going to take a short walk... Stretch my legs a little before I turn in. Want to come?" He asked, slowly standing up and smoothing out a wrinkle on his vest, and a ruffle of fur on his shoulder. [Sorry for the short post]
