M'aiq spent the afternoon at the protection job, which turned out to be a kick because the Politician was a fun character who took the Sniper team out for a round of drinks after the gig was over. When the detail was over, M'aiq beelined straight home, stowed his gear and undressed, and crawled into bed. He never noticed the message from Jackie inviting him to go swimming with her. An oppurtunity he'd beat himself up over, for no sane Cyran man would pass up the chance to see Jackie in a swimsuit.
Once the bar was closed up, Jackie went straight to the swimming pool, changed into a very attractive two-piece swimsuit, and dove in. She spent three hours swimming 'round the pool before she tired of swimming on her own. She climbed out of the pool and sat down on a bench, dripping wet and purring happily for no reason at all.

[[ Just one quick Q: What exactly did you plan on having Jackie "learn" from Dom, if you even truely wanted it to happen? ]]
~Morning~
Dom waited like a gargoyle over the entrance to the Tavern on it's little overhaning awning, long after he'd gotten up. About 6:30 was when Jackie herself showed up, walking right beneath him and not even noticing that her awning had suddenly sprouted a man-shaped dark jedi sculputre. As a consequence, she was rightly startled when a loud "Wham" hit the metal floor right behind her, before she could even get her keys in the lock. It was a large box; the "pedestal" that the suddenly animated "Gargoyle" had been perched on for almost an hour and a half. Dom silently as death, dropped in right behind, sharply contrasting the box since not even his robes made a flutter as he hit the hard metal floor. "Is M'aiq about?" He asked lazily, looking around and preffering the next few matters discussed in private.

[How to defend herself, in case someone ever tried to hurt her.]
Jackie yelped and whirled around, only to see Dom standing behind her, and some kind of box near him. She sighed and gave him a warm smile, then shrugged. "I haven't seen M'aiq since yesterday afternoon... I was bummed, 'cause I had wanted him to go swimming with me last evening, but, oh well. He normally doesn't get motivated enough to come down to the Cantina until ten O'Clock, so I don't expect to see him soon. Why?" She asked, turning back to the door and unlocking it, then returning her gaze to Dom.

Dom lifted the nearly 1/4 of a ton box, walking past her, and upstairs to the private lounge only she and M'aiq and occasionally he would hang out in after hours. Hacking off the top of the box nonchalantly, he kicked it off, to reveal literally hundreds of thousands of credits in the box. "I have more of this than I know what to do with..." He said, looking at all of it as if it were only a metal box full of sand. To Dom, it might as well have been sand. "They're yours to keep..." He said. "It's some of my reward money from the hunt I completed yesterday." He said, about to leave now that his business here was (for now) complete. "If you need more, ask. I have no real use for it..." He said, walking back down the stairs.
Despite 1,000,000 credits being in that box, it was literally but a millionth of what Dom had earned as payment for toppling the pig crimelord. The fool hadn't even left a decent superstructure in the even of his fall; the crime family had literally almost completely fallen apart already; republic soldiers were swarming system by system. "I'd like to think I'm paying for the damages on this place that resulted from the assassin's attempt." He said, already across the main part of the tavern. "Please allow me to at least keep that illusion in return." He said, sighing and beginning to wonder what on courscant he would do with all that money. He needed no ship; he had a house that served him well enough, and he had no relatives; he'd killed them all. Maybe he'd just buy his own planet, then blow it up because he could.

Jackie followed Dom up the stairs to the office, and was shocked beyond words when he opened the box, revealing more credits than she had ever seen before in her life, despite having been raised in a wealthy family. She followed Dom down the stairs, listening to him speak. As he headed across the tavern, she raced up to him and wrapped her arms around Dom, giving him a hug. "Thank you so much, Dom!" She finally said, purring softly and smiling warmly at him. "I... I don't know what to say... But I definetly owe you a big favor for what you just gave me." She added, slowly releasing Dom.

"It was nothing. Literally." Dom said. To him, he might as well have cut some hair off and handed it to her, so little value he placed on money. Besides; he could have force-manipulated his way into the largest bank in the galaxy, had he needed to. "But what did yoy have in mind?" He asked, his thoughts drifting not towards her body, but toward breakfast.

Jackie smiled and turned to walk towards the bar. "Well, what's your favourite breakfast, Dom?" She asked cheerily, as she removed her coat and draped it over a nearby chair. She was wearing a fairly thin and snug fitting pink sweater, along with a pair of form fitting jeans similar to the ones she had been wearing yesterday. The young Cyran woman glided behind the bar and flipped on the lights, and then waited patiently for Dom's answer.

"What ever is already ready to go." He said, putting his head on the bar. "And a glass of the strongest b33r you've got." He said; the paperwork he'd have to do a little later would be hell on his nerves.

Jackie nodded and started Dom off with the b33r, then she set about making the same meal she had served Belphegor last morning. Within ten minutes, Dom's food was ready and sitting on the bar in front of him, and Jackie had made some for herself as well. She sat down next to Dom, and dug into her food.

Dom drank the foaming brew in one gulp. Next he tucked into his meal as well, finishing later than he usually ever did. "Thanks for the food, Jack." He said, wiping his mouth off. "Anything else I can do for you before I go?" He asked, sipping another brew.

Jackie, who had finished her food shortly before Dom, had just come back to her stool after placing her dishes in the kitchen sink. She smiled and thought over his question for a moment, then answered him. "Well... This paticular day of the week is always really slow. Could you... You know, stick around and keep me company? I get pretty lonely when I'm the only one here."

Something inside Dom (either it was hearburn, indegestion, or both to the jaded sith) stirred; he was so unfamiliar with these feelings that he almost wretched. Still, he hid it all behind a smug grin, and shook his head. He'd met hundreds of females before (and unfortunately killed about half) but try as he might, couldn't understand why this particular one drew such strong feelings from him. He knew he loved her, he just wasn't expecting this assault of emotions to come with the territory. "Yeah, sure Jack. I'll hang a while." He said. Figuring he'd at least make himself useful, with one hand outstretched, dom suddenly made the broom dance about, neatly sweeping the floor although there was noone physically behind it.

"Thanks Dom." Jackie replied, reclining as much as she could on the stool without falling over backwards. She glanced over at Dom, looking him over for a moment. She had to admit, she had always found that he had a certain mysterious air about him that she found attractive, though she had never moved on it. After a while, she went on to watching him manipulate the broom with the force, and she wondered if she could ever learn to do that. A Jedi had once told her that she was force sensitive, hence her unusually high level of compassion and empathy for others, and that she was eligible to join the Jedi Order. At the time, she had been about eight years old and the idea of being a Jedi scared the daylights out of her, so she ignored the Jedi. She pushed that train of thought from her mind for the tenth time that week, and returned her full attention to Dom, a smile on her face. "So Dom, how are you feeling this morning?" She asked, trying to spark a conversation.

"Better, now that I've gotten rid of a million-credit paperweight." He said, somewhat bummed. "And even better now that I've had my morning brew. Much thanks for that." He said, holding up a can of b33r. Some people weren't morning people unless they had a gallon of coffee to cling to. Dom was the same way, only with alchohol. "Thanks again. I came in too late last night to catch dinner or a pint, but I'm better now." He said.

"I'm sorry I wasn't open when you came last night... I closed up early and went for a swim." Jackie said softly, offering Dom a apologetic smile. "Oh well, I'll make it up to you somehow." She added as an afterthought, her smile warming as she stood up and stretched out somewhat, as she was almost always a little stiff in the morning. The comms unit behind the bar chirped as a message came in, prompting Jackie to zip behind the bar and see who called. "Huh... M'aiq just left a message. His Mom's moving, and he's gonna go help her get settled into her new place. He won't be back till tommorow." She said, almost regretfully. "Darn, I can't kick his butt in a GoW match tonight." She laughed, a playful smirk on her muzzle.

"You've already made up enough, dear Jackie." Dom said, dissmissively. "Truely, you have." He said, as she went to go check the message. "Poor M'aiq. Still, it's nice he's helping his mother out." Dom said, suddenly bashful that his own had tried to kill him. She failed and the role was reversed. The hit soon became the assassin and this time he did not fail.

Jackie glanced around the bar, but still listening to Dom. The sun was up and shining, and as usual, the tempature of the Cantina's interior was at 83 degrees. She sighed and walked into the back room to turn on the air-conditioning, and while she was at it, she rambled just a little. "Did I ever tell you that I really, really hate the summer here on Coruscant? I mean, it's just so darn h..." Jackie was cut short when something exploded in the back room, throwing Jackie out of the room and clear across the Cantina and filling the back room with thick black smoke. She flew into the far wall, slid down onto the floor, and went limp, bleeding from a variety of cuts and scrapes the blast had inflicted on her. [Twist...]

Dom was up and ready to slay before the explosion fully finished. If his rage was like that of a thousand angry hornets, his sabers did the buzzing for the proverbial swarm. He was off in motion in a flash; within 2 seconds he was working his way back to the source of the explosion.

Unfortunatly for Dom, there was nothing for him to slay, unless he wanted to obliterate a squealing Mouse Droid that was scurrying around, desperatly trying to clean up the mess with it's vaccum attatchment. In fact, the blast looked to be an accident, caused by a flaw in the ancient AC unit that was probably filled with combustible materials. Jackie had finally passed out at the point of her landing, and while she wasn't hurt so badly that she needed medical attention, she was pretty messed up.

Dom smothered the flames by using the fire extinguishers, and was out in a flash once they were put out. "Jackie!!" He yelled, decending upon her prone form. He grabbed the spare kit off the wall, and immediately began tending to her wounds, as best as he could. Bacta patches were applied as needed; so were attatchable bacta tanks.
