Rules For Making your RP Charries
Yet another guideline to help you enjoy your RP'ing experience!
This is a [Hopefully] simple guide to creating your RP charrie, and includes a basic template, some rules, and a few hints.
1: Please don't make a char out of a Canon character. IE: Don't make a char out of Nala, Kovu, Kopa, ETC.
2: Do NOT copy elements of other people's charrie bios without their explicit permission. If you do, you'll get a warning, and if you don't immediatly change it after getting the warning, we will force change the copied sections of your char's profile.
3: Everything about your char's profile has to be kid-friendly material.
4: Please don't make ultra powerful "Fun-Sucker" charries.
5: Don't make up a meaning for your Charrie's name. Use an online dictionary to find a name that has a cool meaning.
[Please fill out all sections that are in bold, because they are uber-important.]
Name:
Name's Swahili Meaning: [Swahili meaning here, if there is a meaning. It's OK to have a name that means something in another language, or no meaning at all.]
Nickname/Alias: [This is optional]
Species:
Gender:
Pride:
Family: [Parents, Mate, Children, Siblings, ETC.]
Appearance: [Description of how your charrie looks]
Markings: [Scars, amulets, ETC]
Alingement: [Is your char good, evil, or neutral? Tell us in this slot!]
Personality:
Background:
1: Don't be afraid to try something new and unusual! You want a lion char that can cast magic and read maps? Go for it! No-one's going to stop you!
2: Got a problem, or just want advice? Ask someone for advice! Feel free to PM me if you want some help.
3: So, your charrie's name doesn't have a meaning in Swahili? No problem! Go ahead and use the name anyways.
4: You want to make a human charrie? Sure, go right ahead, it's your charrie after all.
5: Look over your char's bio a few times once you've finished it. See if there's anything you want to change. But don't worry if you find something that needs to be changed, you can always edit it later.
6: If you ever decide that you no longer want your charrie, put him/her up for adoption, or ask a active mod for the RP section [Such as myself] to go in and delete the profile.
7: Listen to other people's input and ideas. This can help you to mold your char into a work of art.
8: Have fun! Go wild, let your imagination guide you to creating a char YOU can have fun with! RP'ing is about having fun, not about having the best-put-together charrie!
9: [You thought I had another hint, didn't ya!? ]
And here is a list of the more typical colours lion's in the TLK universe have, provided courtesy of TeenSimba.
The look of the Pridelander males is somewhat undetermined, since Mufasa and Simba are the only real Pridelander lions that we see, since Scar has a more Outlander look. However, there are more Pridelander male cubs appearing in comics, like Tojo for instance.
If you're curious for a more Outlander look, here are the fundamentals for their appearances.
