Anyone know if Disney has any special plans for The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride 10th anniversary? I've heard that The Lion King is coming to Blu-Ray so do you think they'll wait till then to release TLK2 on Blu-Ray or maybe even a re-release on DVD with better special features? I was a bit let down by the special features on TLK2 SP. Edition. When you compare it to the TLK Platinum Ed. and TLK 1 1/2 SP. Edition, it seems kind of short changed. Well if anyone has any info, I'd love to hear about it.

Blu-Ray is a technology that allows to wrigth a lot of information even in HD they can put two parts of Lion-King on one disc! I would be so happy, if I found Lion-King on Blu-Ray disc... However, never seen... May be "Walt Disney" actually needs some special day... I will wait Simba's Pride 10th anniversary!

2009 will be twice the TLK fun for Disney with TLK turning 15 and 1 1/2 turns 5. That should be a good year for TLK Fans but I doubt that Disney will hold out for almost two years before releasing TLK or TLK 1 1/2 on Blu-Ray since they'll want to strike when the irons hot. As far as 2008, I'm just hoping they do something nice for TLK2 but my gut feeling tells me that they're just going to re-release the same Special Edition 2-Disc DVD from the Disney Vault Disney can be so cruel at times! ^^

Actually, it would be nice if all three would be a package deal together on Blu-ray. (Can't wait to try it out on my PS3!)

I have one Disney movie on Blu-Ray: The Wild. Not much of a selection, unfortunately. And, plus, only Circuit City has anything around by me... Wal-mart only has like 4 movies!

Hmm, well if that be the case, Disney could very well just have a complete year of TLK celebrations in 09 lol. TLK turns 15, TLK2SP turns 10 and TLK 1 1/2 turns 5. Talk about your wonderful year! Although, that'd mean I'd have nothing to look forward to in 08 Well, only time will tell lol. ^^
