Ok, I know this is two days late but I just got internet today so I'm having to post this late I really wanted to post it on the day of, but what are you gonna do
2 days, and 13 years ago, Disney released a movie in theaters. A movie that would grow into a phemomenon well beyond anyone's expectations. A movie that would touch us all in ways we could have never imagined. The movie in question was of course the great (and in my opinion, the best Disney movie ever made, even to this very day) Lion King!
I still remember the first time I saw TLK as an 11 year old kid. I was just expecting to see a typical Disney movie that day, but much to my surprise and enjoyment, I was treated to one of the best movies I had ever seen. The story was captivating, the characters, unforgetable and the message delivered in the movie was heartfelt and honest. I still consider that day I saw TLK for the first time, one of the most memorable days in my life as were the other many times I saw the movie when it was in the theaters.
Even though 13 years have passed since TLK changed my life, I still enjoy watching TLK just as much as I did on that memorable day, maybe even more so now but no matter how much time passes and no matter how old I become, I can safely say that TLK will always be a big part of my life and will always rank as one of the best movies, if not, THE BEST movie I've ever had the pleasure of watching!
On behalf of myself and all TLK fans old and young all around the world, I'd like to say Happy 13th Anniversary TLK and I look forward to many more great and glorious years to come. Thank you Disney for making such a great movie and I personally hope that there could be some hope in the future for a new TLK movie so generations to come can enjoy the magic, majesty and just plain awesomeness that the Lion King series provides. I didn't get to post this on the right date but I did watch TLK on Sunday so I paid my respects to TLK then as I hope I am doing now
