So i woke up this morning and i put on the lion king as usuall.. and watched it as i got ready Having fun.. singing along and quoting the entire movie.. Like i always do XD.. and Yeah.. the movie ended, and of course when the movie ends i get sad and rewind it so i can watch it again..but then =X
*turn away Now if you dont want to get hurt*
Then i heared a noise, like a scraping KIISHHHHSCHHSKS kinda noise.. So i stopped it from rewinding and ejected it and AGGHH the Vcr ate my tapee =XXXXX I am so sad.
I spend 20 minutes taking apart the tv (it was a TV VCR combo) and i got the tape out and its all wrinkly.. and wen i play it now it gets all fuzzy and KIGHGGSIGHS ish now.. (if you know what i am saying) and it was also on one of the most moving part s of the film, (when he is walking up Pride Rock and is about to roar.. with the song "King of Pride Rock" in the back) and GRR
I am pretty upset. I can still watch the movie cause i have the DVDs and I have them on my computer and Phone but Now an Original Copy of the tape is messd up in the end =\\
Its very upsetting... I also find it ironic that this happend 3 days after i found a TLK forum and was happy.
Does anyone know where i can find an original VHS of TLK movie?
Ughhhh this is what i get for wathing it multiple times a day -.-
*cries*

Sorry to hear about your tape, that will happen to a true TLK fan eventually. You can find a copy on amazon.com/. It's a great place to find old stuff, plus you don't have auctions like you do on ebay... so you don't have to wait. .

Well RK, you can now consider yourself a true TLK fan LOL. I think the right-of-passage for EVERY TLK fan starts with the breaking of a VHS TLK tape LOL. I know, it's not funny in the sense that it happens, but it is funny in the sense that it happened to almost all of us here. ^^ I, myself broke my first TLK VHS many many years ago but hey, it was from over-watching it rather than neglect like most of my other VHS tapes fell victim to lol. So yeah, it happens to everyone and like WS said, you can get one on Amazon or whatever. I saw a factory sealed copy of the VHS sell on eBay for $1.99 recently lol. So there's still hope out there for ya. Just be kind, and don't rewind (as much that is lol) or get yourself an actual VHS tape rewinder rather than relying on your TV/VCR combo

I have to search, I wonder how much i would spend for a foctory sealed copy. Like, say there is like the biddings on ebay.. i wonder when i would draw the line with the money.. *thinks* Meh I dont think i would Lol. The Lion King is more important than money

Well said my friend! I bet you could get a factory sealed copy on eBay for about $15-$20 tops. It's just finding the right auction to bid on. ^^

I remember my VHS copy.. Too bad I couldn't even save my own copy when my house permanently got burned down back in 04. I have the DVDs.. But you're right, doesn't really feel the same.
