So I just need you to PM me a short story about it and spread the word..... If you know you local Newspaper's email send it to me at tlksecets@hotmail.com
I also need some help making flier (sp) to advertise this :-)
And we still need signatures...... you can get your family and friends to sign it to.... The more signatures the better. A Petition to bring back Kim Possiable had 700 signatures and got it back by doing that.........

I sent you my letter via PM Simba but I thought I'd share it with everyone else too since I'm not ashamed of it at all hehe. Here's what I wrote: (Note: I know you said "short" letter but when it comes to TLK, I can't really keep it short in any way lol) To whom it may concern, My name is Cyrus, I am 24 years old and I'm a huge fan of the film "The Lion King". I am also visually impaired. Living with a disability can be very challening for some people and I won't lie, it was tough for me grwoing up as a kid who had limited eye sight but on June 24, 1994, my life changed for the better. I had always been a fan of Disney movies, as well as nature and lions in general, and so when I heard that Disney was going to make a film based around a pride of lions, I was genuinely intrigued. After much begging and pleading with my parents, I finally convinced them to take me to see this movie. We went down to the local theater on opeing day of "The Lion King" and that memory still looms large in my mind. I remember sitting there, glued to my seat, eyes fixated on the spectacular feature that played out in front of me. My popcorn and drink sat idly next to me. I was too into the movie to even give them any thought. Now I was 11 years old at this point so that means a lot. Anything that could tare me away from sugary soda and buttery popcorn HAD to be good. The storyline was so enthralling and the characters were so entertaining that it seemed only a minute had passed before the movie came to its end. After wiping the tears that had so openly poured from my young eyes, I begged my parents to take me to see it again and again. For the next two months or so, it was a weekend ritual for me to go to the movies and watch "The Lion King". Back then, it was purely for the fun of it. I loved that movie, and still do to this very day. I made it my goal to watch it at least once every weekend. Now that I'm older, I fondly look back upon those memories and think on a much deeper level. Why did I love that movie so much? What was it about that movie that changed my life for the better, where so many other Disney movies of perhaps the same quality had not done so before? Now that I'm an adult, I fully realize why I love "The Lion King" so much. It's because I can relate to the storyline in my real life. In the film, Simba was outcasted by his Uncle Scar and led to believe that he had done something wrong, when in reality, it wasn't his fault at all. That's often how I felt in life when I was growing up. People would treat me like I had done something wrong, since I had a disability, when in fact, it wasn't anything I could have control over. I'm not saying that all people were like that, but there was a good handful or so of them. In the movie, Simba realizes, thanks to his father Mufasa, that he needed to face his past and come to terms with himself. After getting some sense knocked into him, courtesy of Rafiki, he did just that. He returned home, found out the truth about how his father died and avenged him. All turned out well for him in the end. As in the movie, I too, got a wake up call but it wasn't in the form of a relative appearing in the clouds but merely in the form of watching this great, timeless movie over and over again. It made me realize that despite what society thinks of me and despite how some people might judge me, I know for a fact, who I am inside and that no matter what life throws my way, I'll be able to overcome it, just like Simba did. As the years have passed, time may have changed, but my love for "The Lion King" and both its sequels haven't. I still love "The Lion King' just as much as I did when I was 11 years old, even more so really now. I've been truly hoping and praying that a new Lion King movie will be released in the near future and that brings me to the reason why I am writing to you today. I would like to voice my love and appreciation for "The Lion King" as well as my undying devotion to see that a new film be made in its honor. I urge you to strongly consider the possibility of making a new Lion King film, not just for my own self enjoyment but for the millions and millions of Lion King fans all around the world whose love for this magnificent movie series only grows as time passes. For those who have yet to see The Lion King, a new film could spark their interest just as the original film did with mine. Disney movies have always had a magic all their own to them and I can say for certain that my life isn't the only one their movies have touched. As time goes by and the world starts to face even more difficult times, its the films such as "The Lion King" series that give not only our kids renewed hope in the world, but us adults as well I'm sure. I don't want to see this unforgettable and absolutely marvelous movie series fade out of existance. I know that it truly never will die, thanks to all of its many many fans throughout the world but I emplore you to please answer the cries of all every die hard Lion King fan around the globe and create a new Lion King masterpiece that we can enjoy and treasure for generations to come. I'm sure that's what the Great King's Of The Past would want too. Thank you for hearing me out and I would like to thank you in advance towards any actions you choose to take to further the life span of this timeless classic movie franchise. Thank you for your time and best wishes to you and yours. Sincerely, Cyrus K.

Dear Mr. Iger,
My name is Tyler Albertario and I have been a major fan of "The Lion King" since I first saw it in 1995 when I was 3 years old. Before I get into details too much, I would like you to know that I live in Oceanside, New York just as you had.
As I was saying, I am a huge fan of "The Lion King" even though I am 15 years old. However, I do realize that there is a great chance that you will discard this email or reply with a form response created by a Disney clerk 10 years ago, but that still won't stop me from telling you what I feel.
My life has been changed from watching Disney's masterpieces that are the Lion King films. The first installment in the series taught me and millions of other children throughout the world at a very young age that it is vital to take responsibility for your life choices and face the consequences of your actions with dignity and grace--regardless of the outcome. The second installment in the series has served as sort of romantic alternative for myself partly because I have had extreme difficulty in procurring a lasting relationship with a member of the opposite sex. "Simba's Pride" may have even prevented me from committing suicide. Let me skip to the point, Mr. Iger: I have written to you here today to request your support for a new installment in the Lion King trilogy. My life has been considerably changed, and possibly even continued, by means of the series. Above all, even if I don't have your support for a new film, I just would like to thank you and the entire Disney Corporation for these life-changing works of art.
Sincerely,
Tyler Albertario
(This has actually been sent)

I am responsible for this. I have created a petition to continue The Lion King Series. The Lion king has inspired people and has changed there lives. I have gotten your email and mailing address along with almost everyone's who makes important decision's in Disney and all the companies it owns. All of us lion king fans would like another lion king movie and not just a sad attempt of a movie. Roger Allens is currently available as a Director, as you may may not know he was one of the two director's from the first movie of the lion king. I will not stop until another movie is made. I will petition, rally, and use every resource i have to get another lion king movie and so will all the lion king fans. Here is a letter from one of my fellow fans: My name is Cyrus, I am 24 years old and I'm a huge fan of the film "The Lion King". I am also visually impaired.
