Kopa laughed softly and nodded as he followed Vitani. "Then please, call me Kopa." He replied, giving Vitani a pleasent and friendly smile. He could see why Vitani was a extremely successful leader, she was one of those people you spoke with and instantly felt comfortable with, just as you felt comfortable around a lifelong friend. At least, that's what he felt. "So Vitani, have you ever heard of this 'Godi' before?"

Vitani replied, "No, I haven't, Kopa," with a slight smile. "I imagine he's one of these new revolutionaries that show up in the Outlands every year or so." Noticing Kitabu meeting with Kovu down in the ravine where many of the lionesses meet, Vitani called out, "Kovu, Kitabu, would you come here please?"
Kitabu heard Vitani call out her name and immediately began walking briskly toward her. She looked back at her ex-father-in-law. "Come on, Sir," she said to him.

Kopa sighed and nodded sadly, knowing full well that the Outlands had more than it's fair share of power-hungry madmen. He then shook the depressing thought from his mind, deciding instead to think about the new alliance with the Pride Lands. It gave him peace of mind to know that the war was more or less over for the Buhati Province, and that they would no longer be fighting a peaceful nation. He suspected that the alliance gave great hope and joy to some of the older Buhatians, many of whom were actually former Pride Landers, having fled to Buhatia during Scar's reign of terror. That line of thought was yet another that he banished from his mind, forcing himself to stay focused on the task at hand.

Tullus looked up and sighed a little. "Im Tullus. I am guessing you are Sky? The lioness outside are very loud...." he said soft. He took his paw and touched his ear. It wasnt bleeding anymore....but it hurt. he sighed again and looked at Sky with a small smile. This was different. He couldnt believe he was called a spy! Dont you think if he was a spy..he would have hidden a little better? He was sort of a big lion. He wouldnt just sit in the middle of the grasslands. Sometimes...pridelanders could be OVER protective...but better safe than sorry..right?

Vitani noticed Kopa's sigh and empathized with him. Up until that point, she had only thought of him as a politician, but now, she was feeling as though the lion she had previously denounced publicly actually had an emotional side and had feelings. She asked him softly, "Kopa, are you all right?" Kitabu looked back at Kovu, but he did not stand up. Kitabu asked him, "Sir, is anything the matter?" [I'd feel comfortable, Jamall, if you would play Kovu. ]

[Uh, OK, sure!]
Kovu looked up at Kitabu, then sighed and shook his head. He stood up and offered her a weak smile. "I am fine." He replied, looking over at Vitani and Kopa, off in the distance. The first thing he noticed about Kopa, was that if it weren't for the fact that Kopa had a more muscular build than Simba, that the two would look like twins. "That's odd. He looks just like Simba." He muttered to himself, not really thinking about the fact that Kit would hear him.
Kopa looked over at Vitani, a warm smile on his face. "Yes and no, Vitani. I'm just glad that Buhatia's war is over." He replied softly, his smile growing into a happy grin. "Maybe when this is all over, I can get on with my own life, marry the girl of my dreams and start a family. Of course, that'll have to wait until we clean up the mess this war has left. There are a lot of wounds to heal, and it'll take time to heal them all."
Sky smiled and nodded, then laughed very softly. "Yes, my name is Sky. You know, I've questioned a lot of spys, and I think it's safe to say, you are no spy." She replied, instantly realizing that Tullus wasn't a spy. What spy hides in the middle of the short grass, in broad daylight? The answer: No spy does such a thing. "So Tullus, what are you doing here in the Pride Lands?"

Very inwardly distraught at Kopa saying that he already had a mate, Vitani did not show it in her face. Instead, she smiled dignantly at him and said, looking down at Kitabu and Kovu, "I wonder what's keeping them."
Kitabu glared at Kovu when he uttered these words, but then glanced over at Kopa and realized that Kovu spoke the truth. Kopa did indeed look very much like the former King, except he was much more muscular and appeared to be better trained at stoicism. Still looking at Kopa, Kitabu said to Kovu, "I think you're right, Sir. He does indeed resemble Simba." Realizing the task at hand, she said, "Well, come on, Sir," as she continued to briskly stride toward the President.

Kopa laughed and shrugged. "I have no idea. Oh well, at least it looks like they're coming our way now." He replied, looking at Vitani out of the corner of his eye and smiling at her. In truth, he would rather continue speaking to Vitani, whom he found very agreeable, pleasant, and interesting, rather than Kovu, but oh well.
Kovu chuckled to himself, then he followed after Kitabu, never falling more than a few feet behind her. He gave Vitani a pleasent, welcoming smile as he approached her, as well as a short bow in greetings. "Good afternoon, Vitani." He said, looking back and forth between her and the Simba look-alike.

Tullus shrugged. "I hated my old pride...i was going to come and try and get into this one. When i saw the commotion...I decided to wait. But...thats why im here." he said softly. He looked around again. The other lioness were walking away. They were afraid that he might attack them when he was let out. He looked at Sky and gave a small smile. "And Spy I am not." he stated.

Sky gave Tullus a warm, welcoming smile, and nodded in understanding. She laughed as he stated that he wasn't a spy, and slowly shook her head. "I beleive you, Tullus! And I completly understand that you waited to come here, I can't say that I blame you for waiting, I would have done the same if I was in your place!"

Tullus smiled a laughed a little. He stood up and shook his head. He still couldnt believe about his ear. He thought about wanting to attack the lkioness....or just ask them why they had t be so aggressive. "Make sure you tell the lioness...that if they are going to rip your ear off...they tell you first.." he said smiling. He rubbed his ear. ONly pain. No blood. He sighed a little but made sure it was a little silent.

Vitani nodded at her brother with a smile. "Kovu, how are you today?" she asked with a slight sigh. She soon noticed that Kitabu and Kovu were staring discreetly at Kopa, and she decided to whisper to Kovu, out of the earshot of Kopa, "Kovu, what's wrong?"

Sky laughed softly and shook her head. "I'll be sure to relay your request, Tullus." She giggled, accidentally loosening up more than she should have, since she was a politician. But, oh well.
Kovu leaned foreward and sighed, then whispered his reply. "Vitani, look at that male. He looks EXACTLY like Simba, except he is more muscular. Even the look in his eyes... It's the same sparkle Simba had." He replied softly, keeping his words barely loud enough for Vitani to hear him. Frankly, he found it worrying that this male could pass for Simba. If he should decide to claim that he was Simba's son, then no one would challenge his claim because of how uncanny the resemblance was.

Vitani cast a discreet look at Kopa, who was now turned away from them, and when she looked back at the expression of Kovu's face, she immediately knew what he was thinking. "Kovu, no--Kopa would never--You're jumping to conclusions, here!" she whispered forefully to her brother.

Kovu's heart skipped two beats when Vitani spoke the stranger's name. "Kopa!? Vitani, Simba and Nala's first child was a boy named Kopa! He dissapeared long before Kiara was born!" He whispered back, a worried look in his eyes. Granted, he may just be paranoid, but there was something wrong with Kopa, and Kovu couldn't quite place what that thing was. "Vitani, just... Be careful around this guy." He whispered, at least wanting his only sister to keep herself safe.

Vitani's stomach lurched into her throat when Kovu mentioned the possibility that General Kopa could be related to Simba and Nala. She gulped quietly, but then turned to Kopa, put on a slightly nervous smile, and asked him, "Kopa, would you like to begin the meeting?"

"If you two are finished whispering about my personal history, yes." Kopa replied, a friendly smile on his muzzle. "I have excellent hearing, Vitani." He then explained, seeing the expression that appeared on her face.
Kovu practically yelped in shock as Kopa revealed that he had heard most of Vitani's conversation with him. Not good, not good at all.

Vitani nearly collapsed when Kopa revealed his awareness. She promptly said to him, "Kopa, I'm--we're sorry if we offended you in any way." With that, her ears flopped downwards in embarassment.

Kopa slowly shook his head, smiling faintly. He glanced over at Kovu, and gave him a short look that most former outlanders knew meant 'give me a minute'. So, Kovu padded just out of earshot, taking Kitabu with him. Once the other male was gone, Kopa loosened up. He gave Vitani a warm, somewhat amused smile, and attempted to reassure her. "Vitani, Hakuna Matata. You're fine." He said softly, his smile broadening some more. "Believe me, if you had offended me, I would have butted into your conversation. So, put that beautiful smile of yours back on your face, all right?" He added, trying to establish a friendship with Vitani AND convince her that she was all right at the same time.

Vitani chuckled nervously. She then preceded to ask him, "Kopa, I apologize for bringing this up, but...do you remember your parents?"
Kitabu went along with her father-in-law, somewhat afrai of what could potentially develop from the current situation. She then whispered in a slightly frightened tone, "Sir, do you really think he could be the son of the King?"
