As most of you know, Disney will be releasing TLK on Blue Ray in the future. Blue Ray disks can hold 25 Gb of information or up to 50 Gb for the duel layer, that is a lot more information then the old 4.7 Gb of a traditional DVD. So my question to every one is, What should Disney do with the extra room?
I would like to see a 3D interactive world of the pridelands, kind of like in kingdom of hearts 2.

TLK on Blue Ray? I have to buy a PS3 just for that... But as for what Disney should do with the extra room... Maybe they could include a copy of Kingdom Hearts II on it for those PS3 owners? Or maybe a soundtrack from the movie you can watch independent of the movie itself. Possibly a load of special features. Lol, I dunno.

Hehe, I think I made a thread of somewhere else on the forum, but I'd love to see TLK on Blu-Ray. I think Disney will either release each of the films one by one, or just release a trilogy on a single disc. Whatever the case may be, I'm still buying it regardless if I even have a Blu-Ray player or not by then. I do hope they jam-pack it with never before seen extras on it, but what I'd REALLY hope to see on it is a preview for the NEXT TLK film! ^^
(crosses his paw-fingers)
Hey, one can only dream, right and only time will tell. ^^

Yeah, it was actually on the previews before one the of the disney DVD releases that TLK is on the "to do" list for Blu-Ray. But, according to the official Blu-Ray release website, it's official release date is unknown.

I can live with the "to do list" as long as it gets done, I will be very happy. And with any luck, they might re-re-least the movie in theaters. Now I am the one how is dreaming, lol.
^Sorry if I created a duplicate thread KM.

I know I'll not be able to afford a PS3 for ages, but like Kkow says, a re-release in theatres, but in 3D! Now that would be awesome (Who's dreaming now? )

*winks* Maybe this is incentive for even Sin to convert over to PS3.

No, you must watch a Blu-Ray on either Blu-Ray player or one of those no longer sold deals that play both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD.

I didn't even know PS3 could play Blu-Ray. I'm getting one for my dorm and I didn't even know! LOL
Isn't the extra space on Blu-Ray discs meant to hold higher quality movies? So why don't they just make the Lion King better quality and more crisp?

They probably will make it better quality, or else there would be no point of releasing it for HD. But there might be other special features, too, to fill up all that extra space.

I had a thought the other day, I was wondering if ti would be possible of Disney to put the "complete score" sound track on the new blue ray disk. It would not really be like releasing it, at least I don't think so. Since most people do not have a blue ray player on there computer, it would be more difficult for it to be circulated. There I go again with my wild dreams again.

i dont see the poit of blue ray that just my opion *raises an eyebrow* Uh, the picture is High Definition. Anyone with an HDTV would know the difference in a heartbeat. Since HD-DVD lost the war, your only option for HDTV video now is Blu-Ray.
