Board Offenses If you break the rules of this forum or the forum's service providers the following actions may be taken against you
First Offense - Verbal warning through PM from a staff member Second Offense - Suspension of your account for a period of time in relationship to the severity of what you did. Also depending on the severity, you risk loss of any board perks, such as member caves. Third Offense - You get banned
Please note, however, that the consequence list above applies only to minor board offenses. Anything major could result in immediate banning, at the discretion of board staff members.

Uploading AvatarsThis post is meant for those who have pictures, avatars, or signatures on their computers that need to upload them somewhere. Please note that you cannot use images on this forum if their on your computer. You must always use an image that has a web address. There are tons of free hosts out there that allow image uploading. All you do is upload the image from your computer to their server. They will give you an image address (URL) to be able to use in the forum. Then you can copy and paste the address (URL) into the correct spots on the avatar and signature parts of your profile. (Not just here, but on all other forums!) Here are a few of the free ones: imageshack.us/www.freeimagehosting.net/photobucket.com/filelodge.bolt.com/ - Adding Images into signaturesIf you want to put an image/images in your signature follow the steps above of finding a picture and uploading it Then click Profile in the Menu Bar, the one that looks like this , Then Click Modify Profile. Scroll Down the Page until you see the signature box and put the following into the box [img src="http://your-host-of-image.com/jpg"] Replace the link with the URL of the image you want

Entering the Chat-roomUp in the right-hand corner of the Screen, under the banner is an icon that says 'chat'( ). Click it, it takes a moment to load. You can enter any name you wish as long as you don't try to impersonate the admin (Meaning don't use Knarrly or Admin as the name, just so there is no confusion). You also, when you are logged in, just go to lkpride.proboards41.com/index.cgi?action=chat

Need Assistance? If it is in regards to a certain area of the board, please contact the mod, or one of the mods, that are in charge of that area. If there is no mod assigned to an area, you may contact any of the mods. If it is a general question, try looking at the bottom of the screen on the main page. This will show you which mods are online at any given time. (Their names will be red.) These will get you your quickest response. If a mod is not responding to you in a reasonable period of time (24-48 hours) please contact a different mod.

Moderator Application
When there is a need for a mod, we will usually select them from established members who preferably have message board and/or ProBoards moderation experience. There are currently two levels of mods: global (for the entire board) and sectional (for a specific section).
If you would like to apply to be a moderator, PM Knarrly with the filled in application below. From there your application will be added to a pool, and when we need a moderator, we will review all the applicants and find the best candidate. You must have an application submitted to be considered. We will not choose based on popular request or demand.

I made a post/thread, and it's gone...where did it go?
Ahh...this could be a couple of explanations.
It could have been a "naughty" post or thread, in violation of the "Post and Die" list. In this case, it would have been either moved to our secret place for reviewing naughty threads or deleted. Please don't create another thread about the same thing if it was deleted because it was naughty.
Sometimes an entire thread is not posted in the correct category. In this case, it's not missing but moved.
If a post, in an established thread, is really off topic, it will be deleted. So will repeated posts in a thread. (Posting "Hi" over and over again.) This is to prevent members from abusing the forum with nonsense posts simply to improve their ranking.

I had an account, and it's gone. Where did it go?
First, please check the member list to make sure the account is truly "gone". (Or email knarrly@hotmail.com for assistance.) If the account is gone, then perhaps you accidentally deleted it. Or, if you were in severe violation of the rules, you could have been banned. If you were banned, please contact me to get permission before rejoining.

Too many Connections...?
Too Many Connections, also known as TMC, is caused when a server becomes a little overloaded. It's nothing bad; just the server trying to protect itself against a crash. When this happens, please do not keep refreshing your page, as this adds additional stress to the server, and forces the TMC page to keep displaying.

Karma|Exalt|Smite Karma It's basically a rating member system on Proboards. If you exalt someone, they get a positive point. If you smite someone, they recieve a negative point. There is no maximum karma that someone can reach. Any Registered member can 'vote' plus or minus one Karma point once per hour.

I was banned for one hour, what did I do If you were banned for one hour, that is Proboards.com's doing not ours. When someone enters a wrong password/username combination too many times in a short period of time, it automatically blocks you for one hour. This is to ensure that nobody tries to guess your password.
