[[ EWWWWW -All remaining cool points. ]]
"Well, the money's in, as she said...." The woman sighed. "Yeah, I know. Too bad we can't use none of it..." The man sighed. "Should we try going elsewhere for work?" She wondered. "Nah. At least here we don't have to do illegal stuff, or think about if it was a double-cross, or not...." The man sighed.

[*Evil Megolomanical Snickering*]
Isolder got the ship...
Kapeni, who decided at the last second that he probably shouldn't try firewhisky in a public place for the first time, chickened out at the last second. He paid the bartender anyways, joked about it a little with him, then took off back down to the Hanger.
The very first thing he noticed upon entering, was that there was a second Lavi II sitting next to his. There was not a single difference between the two, both had their navy grey paint schemes, with dull red paint covering the dorsal mounted cannons and turrets. Kapeni walked up to the new ship, cradling his helmet in one arm, looking her over for any sign of imperfection. Of course, since it was a Lavi, he found none. "You like my ship, Kapeni?" Isolder chuckled, walking up behind Daniel and smirking slightly. "Yes, she's a beauty, Leon." Kapeni replied, turning and smiling at Isolder. "Let me guess: You've got a plan." The Cyran asked, slightly raising one eyebrow at the other Jedi.
"Sure do. You know how the Jedi Temple has a ton of Convoy missions, but all the lucrative ones require that at least TWO ships fly escort? And you know how most pilots refuse to split the profits of their missions? Well... I was thinking, how 'bout WE work together on some of these contracts?" Isolder replied, his smirk morphing into a rebellious grin.
Kapeni mulled it over in his head a few times, then chuckled. "All right, ya pirate. Why don't you give your ship a final flight check, while I go get rid of my share of the Holocrons." The Cyran laughed, turning and heading back to his Lavi.

[[ I had hoped we would all unite against the sith cause, but the whole stand-off-ish thing in the star destroyer kind of slew all chances of us becoming a united force.... ]]
~The Fringes Of Known Space~
"Our forces are joined, your darkness." Reported a minion. "Excellent. Let the attacks commence." Snarled the leader, who clearly was not human. It resembled a 10-foot-tall humanoid thing, only much skinnier, willowier, and gaunt. No part of it was metal or an implant, but it did wear armor and a face-plate. It had 4 arms, and was sinister from the skull helmet down to the clawed feet.
[[ General Grevious II lives. Not the same one, though. ]]

[0.0 Oh Snap.] [BTW, I think there is still a chance. Suppose Dom and company runs across Jackie and/or her sith master, slays them both, then they return the stolen Holocron to Daniel or something along those lines. Or they both take the same escort jog and end up working together.]
Jackie, now clad in flowing black robes which perfectly concealed her double-bladed blood rade lightsaber, slowly settled a seat in the Lambda MK IX Shuttle her Master had provided her. She looked over the Holocron, and puzzled for a moment over what secrets the device contained. Supposedly, it contained detailed instructions on how to construct a ancient Sith superweapon. A device from a great war fought nearly six thousand years ago, the Superweapon was capable of draining the 'life force' of an entire city of people. The stored energy could be used for any number of purposes, from powering even more dangerous superweapons to providing energy to a long-lost and infamous Sith warship that had, miraculously, been rediscovered by the Sith a year ago. However, only a massive amount of life-force could power the vessel...
A few minutes after she boarded the Lambda, her two personal guards powered up the ship's engines and took off. Their course would take them directly to [Insert name of Sith Grave-world here], where her master awaited her arrival.
Kapeni and Isolder had hired a Salvage crew and a suitable bulk transporter, and had laid plans to salvage the ISD that they had found floating about.
The Bulk transporter was in formation between the two Lavi II corvettes, as they hurtled through Hyperspace back out to the ISD. The plan was simple: Isolder and Kapeni would supervise the Salvage op, while the ten men and three hundred droids of the salvage crew went to work patching up the ISD's engines. Once that was done, they'd fly the whole ship right to Coruscant, where Daniel and Leon planned to have it either refitted and equipped with a droid crew, or sold.

[[ The point of this thread is never to kill the sith master, but be coniniously thwarted by his superior tactics, forces, skills, and techniques. Then, when half the galaxy is lost, and the jedi are finally beginning to mount some shadow of a defense, is when we will begin to fight back properly. In all hopes and reality, the sith master should never die, but possibly fight and chase us off however many times we can handle. ]]

[OK. BTW, the ISD will be sold, but not retrofitted. I was kinda thinking that it could be one of the first victims of the Sith strike... And just ignore Jackie till I figure out what to do with her. I should probably kill her off, since she's taking up a precious character slot.] [But, since it seems to be for the better of the thread {In my twisted mind, anyways} I'll be wipin' out the ISD in my next post. Unless you care to do it.] The Salvage team and their escorts arrived right on schedule, and set to work offloading the AT-AT's and AT-ST's onto the Bulk Freighter, while a engineering crew attempted to repair the Hyperdrive engines. Which, surprisingly, would only take a few hours. They weren't badly damaged. Isolder and Kapeni flew in a broad circle around the ISD and the Frieghter, watching for any signs of pirates, freelancers, or Sith. Any one of the three could spell doom for their operation on the Star Destroyer.

[[ Not really. Since we're the only two people that have taken a look at this thread probably, we can expand the 3 rule to 6. ]]

[*Dances* Hooraay!! ] "Lone Star 2-5, I have a visual on the ISD. Permission to engage." A voice crackled over the comms. The Fleet Commander, a forty-five year old Human by the name of Ivan Tyrellius, nodded at the Comms officer and frowned a little. "Begin the attack, the General commands it." He growled, his frown dissapearing as a sadistic smirk tugged on his lips. "Darklance Lead, you have a go. All units, commence attacks on the ISD. Be advised, you have two Lavi II class Corvettes in the area." After acknowledging the order, twenty Stingray-class fighters [heres a link to a image of them: i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh235/Jamall-Mohatu/ss00026.jpg ] descended like a swarm of locusts upon the ISD... "Mother of God, look at them all!" Isolder yelped over the comms. Kapeni mostly ignored him, as he jerked back on the stick and sent his Lavi II skyrocketing, straight at the bulk of the Stingray fighters. "Stay calm, and don't be a hero, Isolder! We'll get through this!" Daniel barked back, as he closed to within weapons range. The moment he got in range, he depressed the firing stud for the Heavy Blaster Cannons, just as Carlyle opened up with both the Lavi II's turrets. A hail of deadly red and blue energy sailed into the darkness of space, then shredded right through the lead Stingray and into the rest. Two, three, then five blue-white explosions followed, as the Leader exploded and the hailstorm of energy cut into his wingmates. The battle for the ISD had begun. Meanwhile, Isolder had decided that they would need some serious back-up. [Which was a wise thing to do, considering how a sith Destroyer was coming straight at them.] "To any Jedi forces near Endor, this is flight Delta 5 Niner. We have come under heavy attack from what appears to be a wing of Sith fighters and a single Destroyer. Requesting immediate support, over." Unfortunatly for Isolder, a lucky shot from one of the Stingray fighters blew off his comms antenna before the message was complete. There was maybe a One in a thousand chance anyone heard him...

[[ So far, nobody knows the sith are attacking. What you engaged may well have been space pirates, organizing to jack your loot. ]]

[Hmm... *Shrugs* Then Isolder's message never got out. And when he and Daniel talk about it, Daniel brushes him off as being paranoid.]
*Forty minutes later* After expending six missiles, countless blaster rounds, and ramming one Stingray fighter, the entire enemy force was wiped out. And it was all done single-handedly by Kapeni. "Glad that's over with... But we lost the ISD, I think." The Cyran muttered over the comms, looking out the c0ckpit window at the smoldering ruin of the Star Destroyer. The enemy Destroyer had torpedoed the ISD's reactor, then, rammed into the ISD as a final act of aggresion. The resulting blast wiped out the ISD, converting it from a warship into a armored husk in two seconds flat. By some miracle, the Freighter managed to survive, and was in the process of starting her Hyperdrive engines for the return trip to Coruscant.
"Daniel, I think those ships were Sith." Isolder stated over the comms, his voice slightly shaky with fear. "I think you're paranoid, Isolder. Those were probably just Pirates or Mercs. The Jedi Fleet has this sector clamped down tight enough that there is no way a capital ship could have gotten in here from out-of-system. Especially not with two squads of fighters in tow. Come on, let's just get back to Coruscant and salvage what we can. At least we got a few AT-AT's. That'll be worth a cool 500 million credits right there. If we're lucky."

~Interlude~
The preemptive attack was a compelete success. Despite the one scouting party being destroyed, in the Varia-quadrant of the galaxy, the invasion rages on. During the course of 1 week, over 1,000 outer and inner rim planets have been taken with lightening speed. Jedi on all planets were wiped out without even awareness to their impending doom, and were all slain where they stood. Rapidly, sith occupational forces enslaved the entire population of the the peoples of the captured planets. They are hearded into death/labor camps, either to be exterminated systematically, or work for the sith by manufacturing more weapons, or harvest all available resources. Like a cancer cyst, the sith are ensconced, and drain valuable resources. What is left is nothing but barred desert worlds, totally devoid of life. Even though the amount of planetary loss is insignificant, it has drawn attention to Varia quadrant. The galaxy has gone mad trying to search for the culprit force, as more and more planets are systematically enslaved, exploited, then left devoid of any and all life, in a matter of weeks.
During the first month of assault alone, the loss is up to 5,000+ planets and counting, spanning entire systems of planets, without a trace. The marauding sith are smart; they raid, then leave known space, only to consolidate their plunder, and await the next opportune moment of assault. People are scared, and martial law is imposed in Varia quadrant. The other 3 are awash in attempts to fortify their defenses, and wait for the attack that will never come. General Grevious extends his reaches ever further, completely ignoring all galactic diplomats. Calls for peace and negotiation are met only with violence; the cries of the innocent do not reach his ears. Varia quandrant soon sees a mass exodus of people, refugees fleeing to other areas and the inner rim. Still, more planets fall.
