The male returned to the ramp, which began it's slow, hydraulic-whine vertically back into place, sealing the hold. "We'd love to stay folks, but we're on outta here. Got some business to take care of." He said as quickly as he could, before the hold floor sealed up the ship, and shut them off. "Very well. May the force be with you..." Said the woman quietly to herself, as the ship's engines flared, blasting back her dirty and matted hair back onto her shoulders. She turned and ran, to get a hold of a good shampoo before the best stuff was all taken.
The man ran back up the stairs to the ship cabin. "S'about time you got back." She said, as the ship began to lift off. "Right. Right. Sorry." The male apologised, taking his customary seat behind her, in the copilot's chair. "We--" The consold beginning to beep loudly cut off the woman, mid-sentence. "An emergency signal?" She asked, as the ship gave the readouts. "Probably another ship caught in a fight with space pirates or looters...." The male mused. "Still.... Should we help? It's coming from the far side of the moon...." The woman trailed off. The man spent a moment rubbing his temples, before letting out a long, exagerated sigh. "Fine. Bring it on." He said, putting on his helmet and hooking up his mouth piece. "Goody!" The girl exclaimed giddily, and jerking sharply on the flight stick. "I want it know that I think this is a bad idea..." Said the man, powering the weapons systems. Outside, the two large wings holding the rocket pods folded out, from their storage positions. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever." She said, as they soared off.

Kapeni very slowly made his way down towards the Vehicle bay, scanning the hall in front of him at rifle-point as he moved. Once he came to the door to the bay, which appeared to have been blasted open from the hanger side, he noted that there was much more damage here than in the rest of the ship's interior. He swallowed hard, then stepped into the bay. He looked around at the cavernous bay, filled with rows of AT-AT's and AT-ST walkers, along with Hover Tanks, Turbolaser Artillery pieces, and even four SD-10 Robotic Infantry Units. This Eclipse ship must have been modified to act as a troop transport, there were easily enough land vehicles to support a army or two here.
There was an massive airlock in the middle of the bay, which looked like it had been designed so that a shuttle could enter the bay without venting the bay's atmosphere. By the looks of the airlock, it was still in remarkable condition. In fact, so was everything else in there. Kapeni started to walk forwards, towards a AT-ST, when he heard a frantic whisper come from behind some crates. "Don't move!! It... It'll see us!" A male voice whispered, panic sounding heavily on his voice. "What? What'll see us?" Daniel whispered back, kneeling and looking around. But he never heard the answer, for a moment later a mighty THWUMP sound echoed through the hanger, as a SD-10 opened fire with it's heavy laser cannon on Kapeni's position and drowning out the hidden man's voice.
Kapeni himself just barely managed to hide behind a crate before the first volley of fire vaporized the deck plating where he had been crouching. "This day just keeps gettin' better and better..." He grumbled, peeking around the crate to see what the massive bipedal robot was up to. It was standing there, one of it's weapon arms raised and aimed at Kapeni's position, but it wasn't moving or shooting... Yet.

~The Dropship hits orbit~
"We're out of the planet's atmosphere....." The woman replied. "Gunning engines to the source of the signal now." She said. The ship roared off....

The pause in weapons-fire had been short lived, sadly enough. Kapeni and the human -who was dressed in some kind of odd grey uniform- only narrowly escaped the second volley. "Run for the AT-ST!" The human yelled, shoving Kapeni towards one better protected AT-ST's, which was about a hundred meters away from them. Kapeni did as he was told, and ran straight at the AT-ST, with the Human right on his heels. They closed to 80 Meters, then 50, then 25, before the SD-10 struck again. The war machine sent a pair of concussion cannon rounds flying into the deck in front of them. The blast very nearly knocked Kapeni and his ally clean off their feet, but by some miracle they kept their footing and kept going. Before the SD-10 [which, thankfully, wasn't operating quite right] could pop off another volley at them, they had managed to duck into cover and work their way up to the AT-ST. After managing to climb inside without the battledroid being able to shoot at them [for a entire row of AT-ST's seperated theirs from the SD-10] the Human powered up the machine and piloted it out of it's hanger. "You will want to hold onto something." The Human warned, as he sent the battle walker stomping at top speed across the hanger deck, with frantic barrages of blaster energy searing the air around them. Without warning, the Human spun the AT-ST around on it's heels, and loosed off a volley of his own at the SD-10. The battle had now, offically, begun...

About now, the ship was rocketing toward the other end of the planet. "Heads up. We're hitting the shadow...." She said, keeping her eyes peeled. The star destroyer was about the size of a dime in the viewport, but steadily growing larger and larger. "Jeeze.... How much bigger will this thing get?" He asked, rhetorically. "Dunno. The signal's getting stronger though, and it's from WITHIN the cruiser..." She said, puzzled. "That can't be right, can it....?"

"Aw, F***, HANG ON!!!" The Human roared, clinging doggedly to the AT-ST's controls as a concussion cannon round slammed hard into the Walker's right leg. Whether by miracle or years of practice, the AT-ST's pilot managed to keep her upright, and return a volley of blaster cannon fire. His volley was right on the mark, tearing into the SD-10's head, wiping out most of it's sensor package. Essentially, it was now blind. "God, we got lucky on that one." The pilot muttered, glancing over at Kapeni. The Human tilted his head at Kapeni's form, slumped back in the seat. Poor bugger hadn't held on tight enough, his head probably slammed into the control console, knocking him cold.
"First things first..." The Human growled, turning his attention back towards the SD-10, which was waddling aimlessly around, popping off rounds in random directions. He tightly gripped the firing controls. "And another one bites the dust!" He cackled, depressing the firing studs of all the AT-ST's weapons and loosing off a hellstorm of deadly energy at the machine. The volley burned a hole clean through the SD-10's chestplate, a perfect kill shot. The machine's reactor went critical a split second later, consuming it and a unfortunate Hover Tank that was next to it in a ball of red-white fire. The human grumbled, then sent the AT-ST stomping off towards a medical transport. The big furrball would probably need a band-aid, after all.

About 10 minutes later, the Gorgoroth was slowly hovering over the destroyer's entire surface area, searching for signal strenght. "Whoever's in there should be alive; the signal's moving. And it's in the bay, from my readouts." The male said. "Right. I'm going to risk landing in that bay...... Right there. That looks good. With luck, the entire thing won't have been completely vented..." She said.

Ater spending a labourous ten minutes using a small overhead crane to lift Kapeni out of the AT-ST, the Human set him down on the deck by the Medevac transport. He sent the crane scurrying away after unhooking Kapeni from it, then he set about removing the Jedi's helmet. Once that was done, he lightly slapped Kapeni's cheek a few times with the back of his gloved hand. "Wake up, you overgrown kitten!"
Kapeni awoke with a start and looked around, half expecting the SD-10 to stomp on him. "Wha? Oh... Yeah." He groaned, propping himself up against a crate and looking up at the Human. It was now that he noticed that this human wore what looked like a old Imperial Navy Officer's uniform. That was strange... But then again, in recent years that uniform had become popular among a certain Private Military Company that worked for the Jedi. Maybe he was one of their people?

The gunship about now, had hovered in and set down on the deck, powering down as it's engines died. It set down next to a lavi gunship, which didn't look one bit old, or dilapitated, like the rest of the ship did. "Strange. This ship isn't nearly as old or as screwed by time as the rest of the cruiser is. It's still venting!!" The male pointed out. "I realized that. Whoever's calling for help must have been in on that ship...." The woman finished. "Well, then keep in touch with me. I'm going out. Don't open the door unless it's the pizza man." The man joked, putting on an enviro-suit, that resembles the one Parker wore from Red Faction, only black with a H.U.D. "Be careful...." She said, as the door to the cabin hissed shut, shutting them off from each other. The hold floor lowered, and he went down. So far, the suit read all systems nominal, and nothing outside was unsafe. "Odd... The atmosphere seems to be normal...." He said, not removing his helmet. "Becareful. Looks can be decieving." Said the woman, over comms.

The Human, after identifying himself as Leon Isolder, a Jedi Knight and former PMC Contracter, helped Kapeni to his feet. "So, Daniel, how did you get here? Obviously you've got a ship." He asked, standing up and clasping his hands behind the back, his pose eerily resembling that of a Imp officer. "Yeah, I've got a Lavi II gunship in hanger 4B." Daniel replied, sliding his helmet back on, then handing Leon his blaster pistol.
Isolder gladly accepted the Glock-style blaster. "Hanger 4B? Well then, what are we waiting for? Off we go!" He replied, turning and trotting off towards the far side of the hanger. "Glad one of us knows where we're going!" Daniel grumbled to himself, shouldering his rifle and taking off after Isolder. Maybe he wasn't as screwed as he had thought.

"Hey.... The signal's getting stronger.... And headed right for us!" reported the woman. "Darn. Looks like I don't get to go and explore like I'd wanted to...." The male, jogging back from a jammed door to the ship. "Whatever that is carrying the signal must know we're here.... I don't see any other explaination for it taking every right turn to get here..." The woman warned. "Right. Keep the ship warmed, in case we need to jet." The male said, stepping on the gunship bay floor, which was now lowered.

"It's about time you got back into comms range! Where in the bloody hell have you been!?" Carlyle demanded over the comms. The AI was, surprisingly enough, quite irate. "Simmer down, Carlyle! I was a little busy getting my tail-end shot at! What's your status?" Kapeni replied, following behind Leon as they drew closer and closer to the Hanger, after passing by the destroyed Phase III Dark Trooper. "Green. Aside from the fact that a AG-60 Havoc is sittin' here next to me. Perhaps you should try runnin' a wee bit faster, laddy. I'm not sure what they're up to." The AI replied.
Kapeni swore quietly under his breath, then jogged up alongside Isolder. "We gotta book it!" He hollered, tearing past the human and down the hall. Barely two minutes later, Daniel barreled out onto the hanger deck, rifle at the ready. Isolder was right behind him, his unignited lightsaber in one hand and the pistol in the other.

[[ AG-60 = the name the two gave it. It's a private/custom built, almost like building your own car out of parts from alla different car makers. God loves his mutts. ]]
"They look like they wanna fight...." The male said, brandishing his own sabers. "Stay in the cabin, Az. No need for you to get involved." The woman naturally protested, but was quieted. "I've got a plan." Proclaimed the male. He branished his own sabers of course, and stepped off the deck. "Put your weapons away, or you all die." He commanded, shutting off one of his two sabers as a sign of peace. "We came to rescue the source of a distress call we got. But if it was a trap, we will gladly slay you all." The male proclaimed. From where the Lavi was parked, all her main weapons were pointed space-ward, including the turrets. "I can tell you this can be a peacefully resolved outcome of battle." He insisted. Already they could see that the Havoc's rockets were pointed right at the Lavi, and did not need time to rotate and aquire a target. "We'll blow the ship up if it's turrets come online. Aside from that, all we want to do is leave peacefully..." He said, taking 3 slow steps back onto the bay floor, as the Havoc's engines came online.

Kapeni eyed the lightsabers the man held, then slung his rifle over his shoulder. "Isolder, take it easy. Carlyle, you too." He said into his comms, stepping forewards as Isolder holstered his weapons and the Lavi II, which had been powering weapons, ceased all activities. "Sorry about that. This ghost ship's been tossing all sorts of scarey crap at us, so we're a little edgy." He explained with a shrug. He continued to walk forewards, until he was standing just between his ship and the Havoc. Isolder stood just behind Kapeni, a frown on his face.
"If you want to leave, that's fine, but you'll miss out on all the loot aboard." Isolder added, smirking a little. "This ship, the ISD Shadow's Heart, was the flagship of the Imperial Fleet eight hundred years ago. She was lost in a nebulae while she was transporting a load of Sith and Jedi Holocrons to the Remnant homeworld. And guess what's still aboard, locked away in a vault on deck 52-A?"
[Right-O. BTW, I forgot, Kapeni's Infantry armor is the same as the ODST Armour from Halo 3.]

The ship's bay hissed shut, and took off, leaving them all staring at the rapidly diminishing glow of the stardrive engines.

Isolder and Kapeni watched as the Havoc took off. The two shrugged, grinned at one another, then took off at a dead run back inside after fetching a anti-grav cargo lifter from the back of the Lavi II.
*Four hours later* "What a haul!" Isolder chuckled, as he and Kapeni moved the last load of Holocrons into the Lavi II's hold. "Hey, here's one for you. Looks sweet, right?" He said, handing Daniel a black, sinister looking Holocron. "Yeah, sweet." Kapeni replied, looking it over as Leon began stuffing the Holocrons into a crate along with the rest. "Looks like a Sith holocron to me." He thought aloud, turning it over a few times in his gauntleted hand. Isolder glanced up at it, then laughed. "I don't think it is. It's not radiating Dark Side energy or anything else that would distinguish it from the Jedi Holocrons." The human replied, as he sealed up the loading hatch. Kapeni shrugged, stuffed it in his back pocket, then made his way up to the c0ckpit along with Isolder. Daniel slid into the pilot's seat, while Leon opted for the Gunner's seat located behind and slightly below Kapeni's, facing backwards. It was equipped with six seperate screens and controls for controlling the weapons, along with a special helmet and HUD for the gunner. Once they were strapped in, Kapeni fired up the Lavi's reactors, and eased her out of the Hanger. "Next stop: Coruscant!" He stated triumphantly, firing up the Hyperdrives, then jumping into Hyperspace.
[Hehe. The "Sissy Patrol" is returning with a large fortune in Holocrons. Guess they'll gonna be rich sissies... Unless they get blasted over that Sith holocron.]

[[ Whatev. As long as it doesn't involve team Gorgoroth. I can only see fighting in the future, and that's only part of what I hoped this Rp would be... ]]
"Well, not that that wasn't fun or anything...." The male said, taking off the suit in the back. "Smooth thinking, hot shot." The woman snarled, the entire sentence OOZING sarcasm and relief at the same time. "Yeah, I know. Can't touch this. Bow dow dow dow, dow dow, dow dow. Stop. Break it down. Duh, dunanunana, Duh, dunanunanan...." he sang, redonning his piloting equipment. The jedi who'd assigned them the mission was sauntering in the delicate jedi way over to the ship's hold, where they both stood on the balcony overlooking the interior. "Ahh, good to see you two back. No problems I hope?" She asked, walking in a few paces, then turning to look at them. "Oh, a few, but no shots fired." The male said, putting the signed manifesto in his teeth, then vaulting the balcony fence bars to fall the 1 story down, and land in front of the jedi. "So she seemed really happy to see us.... Or the stuff we were carrying." He muttered, after spitting it out and going over the whole of the paperwork with her.

While Kapeni's new partner, Isolder, split the pile of Holocrons in half and took his share off to sell them to the Jedi Academy, Kapeni himself locked up his share in the Lavi's safe and locked the old girl up. He set out to the Academy Cantina, looking for a cold drink to settle his nerves and celebrate his newfound wealth. He was about to slide into a barstool, when a angelike female voice drifted out behind him. "Long time no see, Daniel."
He turned around and grinned at the most welcome sight of Jackie Nyobi, clad in a tight-fitting light blue t-shirt and equally formfitting jeans. "Well, hey!" He replied, smiling at her and setting his helmet on the barstool. "What brings you out here?"
Jackie smiled and shrugged. "Just... Things. Heard a rumor that you ran into some interesting items..." She purred, giving the Jedi a playful, yet seductive smile. Kapeni laughed sheepishly, trying not to stare at her. "Uhh... Yeah. Some Holocrons." He replied, tossing his helmet over to a table, then sitting down at it as Jackie walked up to him. She sat right next to him on the table's bench. "Sounds nice..." She purred, leaning in to him. Then, surprising him a little, she gave him the Cyran version of a kiss.... At the same time picking his pocket for the Sith Holocron. When it was over, she stood up and smiled at him, having already hidden the holocron in her pants. "Come by my place later, and... We'll find something fun to do." She whispered with a wink. She then dissapeared into the crowd, and out of the Cantina...
[Perhaps, Jackie is not as sweet as she looks...]

"Right. The credits have been forwarded to your usual account, in the usual manner, at the same place, and time. We do truelly apreciate what you do for the academy, and the galaxy as a whole." She said, bowing deeply. "We do what we can. Any other jobs you got for us?" He asked, hopefully. "Not at the moment. We do have many, many jobs, but they aren't suitable for a pair of your calibur and magnitude." She said. "The highest being in the low double-digit range." She said. He nodded understandingly and smiled, though inside was a bit mad that business was again slow, and they still needed a whole lot of money. "Well, I will leave you two to your own devices, and return. Again, we thank you for your cooperation and service." She said, bowing once more and then exiting stage right. "Well, it's better than where we were yesterday....." The woman sighed. The male nodded, then went to check the status of the starboard engine.

[Yeah, I know... She's a Sith agent right now... 25% chance of her converting back to the Jedi later on... ] Kapeni was so shocked by Jackie's action that he didn't even notice the mission Holocron. He smiled a odd, goofball smile as she left, then he placed a order for some firewhisky. He needed the good stuff... Meanwhile, Isolder had sold his share of the Holocrons for a cool 506,219 credits. Which was more than enough to buy his own Lavi II class Corvette. [The things sold for only 350,000 apiece, but that was for a bare, unmodernised Corvette.] He stamped off towards the Academy Shipdealer, to see if they still had one in. If he could get one, maybe, just maybe, he and Daniel could start their own convoy escort service... If Kapeni wanted to, that is. [Turnin' in for the night Raf. TTYL.]
