Simba slightly tilted his head, then he decided to be honest. "To be honest, not exactly. I had orginally thought Jamall would marry my daughter. But I think his heart is with Kitabu. But I must say, you and my daughter were definetly made for each other." He replied, trying not to be TOO blunt with him.
Jamall lightly nuzzled Kit in a reassuring way, then he nudged Tullus. "Come on, get up. We need to get you to a healer."

Kitabu noticed that Tullus was in great pain, so she said, "Jamall, why don't you get a healer to come here?"
Kovu nodded understandingly. "Simba.....Dad.....Where is Kiara?"

Jamall slightly tilted his head, then he shrugged. "I just finished my healer's training. I could patch him up." He replied softly.
Simba shrugged and laughed. "I think she is with Jamall's grandmother, Jasmine, and his sister, Sky, getting ready for the marriage. Nala's with them. I think they're in Jasmine's den, it's right over there. But be warned, if you go in there, you might be facing a giggle-fest." He chuckled, pointing towards the entrance to a rather large den that was a few dozen yards behind Simba.

Kovu heeded Simba's words with great caution. He took baby steps toward the den entrance and saw that he had indeed been correct. A crowd of lionesses was blocking out Kiara and were giggling uncontrollably. He cleared his throat and called out in an embarassed manner, "Kiara?"

"I know where some healing herbs are." Kiki piped up, not wanting to be too much in the background. Anara had tried to cover her mouth but was not fast enough to do so. 'Oh no.' she thought, placing a paw over her face.

Jamall turned to face Kiki, then he nodded his head. "OK, where?" He asked, obviously eager to get to the herbs.
A fresh wave of giggling rippled through the lionesses, but after a few seconds Kiara made her way out of the crowd and towards Kovu. She smiled and tilted her head away from the den, as she wanted to see him in Private.

"Near the waterfall. I collect them." Kiki answered, finding it very interesting to be at the site of a lion emergency.
(( Sorry for shortness ))

Jamall nuzzled Kitabu, then he whispered "Be right back" into her ear. He then walked up to Kiki, and smiled a little. "Well, lead the way." He replied, bowing slightly in thanks.

Kitabu didn't know what to do. All she could do at that point was try to comfort the two baby cubs in her arms as Jamall and the young Jaguar went to find the herbs....and pray for their successful return.
Kovu opened his mouth to speak, but was astounded by how Kiara looked. She had a flower planted in her fur behind her ear, she had many different herbs smattered about her face to exentuate her eyes, and it appeared that she had been very recently washed and groomed. "You look....beautiful...." was all Kovu could manage to say to his future wife.

Kiki grinned, turned, and headed towards her favorite patch of herbs. It wasn't a very long walk because she knew every shortcut in the Jungle. A grove of short little trees with long branches grew within the natural herb garden. She picked a few with deep-green leaves and bright orange flowers that would stop the pain and keep the injuries from getting infected. She also grabbed a long-stemmed plant that was almost like a vine. When crushed it was a very good cast-substance. Kiki turned to Jamall with the plants in her jaws, nodded, then started back.

Kiara smiled and blushed slightly. "Thanks to Jamall's grandmother, Jasmine. She's amazing!" She replied, smiling broadly at her future husband. She then looked over Kovu and his finely groomed mane and face. He too also looked to have been recently bathed. "Wow... You look, uh... Really hot." She giggled, smiling a little sheepishly at him.

[Sorry for the double post, I didn't see your reply, espeon!]
Jamall turned and followed Kiki back.

When they arrived back, Kiki set down the herbs carefully. "You lions clearly aren't used to the Jungle." she whispered to Anara teasingly, sitting down.
Anara was amazed Kiki hadn't annoyed Jamall to death. She wasn't very good with her social skills. She thought lions were some kind of alien species that needed studying or something.

Jamall sat down near Tullus, after moving the herbs so that he would have better acess to them. Then with great care, Jamall began to professionally heal Tullus's many wounds.

Kitabu watched anxiously as Jamall began healing the young cub. She was so afraid and yet, at the same time, admiring of Jamall that he was so gentle and caring for every living creature. This realization only made her love him more.
Kovu blushed, but then soon realized what he had done. "Oh my God!!! This is bad luck! I shouldn't be here so soon before the wedding!" he said loudly, but still grinning.

Kiara playfully batted at Kovu's muzzle. "You silly lion! Don't worry!" She replied, laughing softly at her love. "Besides, nothing will go wrong, as long as I have you."
After ten minutes of nonstop, precise, and immensly gentle work, Jamall finished. All traces of blood around the wounds was gone, and a soft tan gel [made by mixing the juices of several different flowers] was serving as a combination antiseptic and tissue regeneration accelerator bandage. Loosely translated, the wounds would heal fully in a few days. "There, I'm done."

"That was very interesting." Kiki commented with a smile, looking around.
Anara padded up to Jamall. "Sorry if Kiki's been a little crazy. She only met me a few days ago. That was the first time she had ever seen a lion up close. She's still getting over it." she explained, smiling weakly.

Trinket closed her eyes and snuggled into Kitabus fur as Jamalls worked. She didnt want to see her brother. She let a cople more tears slip down her face. She sniffled and then sighed. Her brother had wounds that she never wanted to see on anyne. She snuggled with Kitabu and accidently.....fell asleep. She was just trying calm herself down.
Tullus closed his eyes and held his muzzle together tightly. He gritted his teeth and took deep breaths and tried his best not to make a sound. He knew that Trinket was there, and he didnt want her to get worried. His breathing was rapid and it was gtting a little harder to breathe. He looked over at Jamal and smiled slightly when he was done. "Thanks....." he said softly.

"No problem." Jamall replied, offering Tullus a smile in return. "The pain should dull very soon." He added, at the same time turning his head to look at Kiki and Anara. "Uhh... OK?" He replied, slightly tilting his head. He then shrugged it off, stood up, and walked around Tullus to Kitabu. He sat down next to his lover, and gently nuzzled her cheek. "Are you OK, Kitabu?" He whispered, placing his forepaw atop hers in a show of affection and compassion.

Anara sighed and turned to face Kiki. "I'm going back to Pride Rock." she said firmly. "Can I come too?" Kiki asked enthusiastically, grinning in an innocent manner. "No!" Anara answered. She didn't need a hyper-active jaguar following her around. Much less where people knew her.
