Oooooh, yeah, that one is hard to call. In the Broadway show I think He Lives in You was more powerful, but I think as far as the movies go, Circle of Life is better. I mean, if you just played the first few seconds of CoL (the big "Naaaaaant's Ingonyaaama bagithi baba..." when the sun appears), just about anybody you asked would recognize it right away. It's become almost a staple of movie songs now...so many people recognize it.

Lol (tries to picture cubbykovu talking with a businesslike tone) Well yeah, I guess I wasn't very clear in my first post but I think as far as the two movies go Circle of Life was a little better...I mean just from watching that you can already understand the way the Pridelands operate and their mentality on life. In the Broadway version though, I think He Lives In You was better since they used it in relation to Simba, when Rafiki's trying to make him go back to Pride Rock. I think it worked better in that context, although it's still a great song (I was just writing my faith statement for church and I referenced some of it in relation to God .)

I say "He Lives In You" but just by a slim margin. I like both songs though.

All because of the fact that you know it's Mufasa looking down upon everyone. In the first one, it was just light as far as the viewer would know in the beginning
