Apparently, there is a TLK novel that also exists. I was unsuccessful at buying a copy , but it looks promising. No doubt this is simply a 2-4th grade level book, but I wanna read it.
Apparently, it's only 64 pages long. A paltry sum for a novel, but it's for little kids, so whaddya expect?

Indeed, I wish to read it myself. I did find it on ebay, but I was too late to get it. T.T

I want it! I want 6 new adventures too! I've had an idea... someone here could write the Lion King as a novel! Make it longer, widen the plot, deeper characters etc. Maybe put the charries who were only introduced in SP and 1 1/2 into it! Maybe even make it darker, things that Disney wouldn't put in because of the kids who might watch it, such as details of Mufasa's death and Scar wanting to mate with Nala.

I was in Grocery Outlet today and I saw a book and CD combination of The Lion King. I didn't buy it, though.

I HAVE THIS BOOK!!! Sorry to get all hyper, but I found it at a secondhand store! In good condition! The pictures in the middle of the book fall out, but other than that it's fine. Sorry everyone, but I've read the book over a few times, and it was probaly based on a very early screenplay, because most of the events in the movie never happen in the book. JCWTBK never happens, Circle of life is changed and is full of speaking, King of pride rock(where simba claims the throne in the rain) NEVER HAPPENS. and there's a short scene after the presentation of SimbaXNala's cub that has Simba looking up to the stars that night and saying(to his father) "everything is fine, father. you see, I remembered." Just to name a few.
