My philosophy is that if it makes me cry, it's a good movie. If it's a good movie, it makes me cry. And it's true.

Yeah, that's me as well. Last year I saw Titanic for the first time, and I almost went into manic depression. I bawled for hours. A lot of the time I do cry at happy endings too though, I just saw The Notebook, which has a really sweet, happy ending and shed a few for that. For goodness sake i cried at the end of Titanic and AI ROFL AI is one of the saddest movies ever made!! (bawls again). I mean, it was really creative and all but it's so darn depressing! I could never watch that one again...

Only two movies that have ever brought me close to tears were The Lion King and um, Pokemon: The First Movie lol. The Lion King for obvious reasons, Mufasa's death and how sad Simba looked and Pokemon: The First Movie because, well, Pikachu crying after Ash got turned to stone by Mew and Mewtwo was just heart-wrenching to me.

Pokemon: The First Movie.......oh dear, the memories. Actually, KM, you're right about that part being sad. As cheesy as the Pokemon series was sometimes, some of those episodes were pretty good tear-jerkers. I remember when I was in about 2nd grade, those things were about the saddest stuff in the world...

I knew others cried in the theaters, it's just I probably was the only adult in there, who shed a tear or two for poor Pikachu's adorable cries lol. You're right about the episodes too. I almost cried in the episode "Bye Bye Butterfree" and did cry during "Pikachu's Goodbye" lol.
