Do you want to see a 4th movie? Like the outlanders are having trouble fitting in to the pride for example.

It would be really nice to see another one but I think Disney is planning to leave it as a trilogy.

Completely depends on how much time they devote to making it good. No point in them making a 4th film if they just throw something together with a horrible plot...and lately I haven't been totally agreeing with Disney's movies so it's a maybe for me.

see your point. I mean, I'd really like one (although I doubt there will), but only if they're going to put in a good effort like they did wit the others. Sometimes if a long time between films passes then the next one can decrease in quality a bit.

I doubted it too, but that's why Kovu's comment surprised me.

I think I would have liked it if instead of doing LK3 about Timon and Pumbaa - who admittedly are great charcters - have it about the intergration of the outlanders and pridelanders.

I would love to see a forth one, but disney has a habit of messing up sequels, so I hope there is another one, but I beg them to take their time.

*whispering* That's because they outsource their sequels to their lower budget studios.

Because their main studios hav eto focus on the films that actually make it to the theaters. The direct-to-video ones are usually very low budget. Which is why, some of the time, they cannot get certain actors back. (i.e. : Rowan Atkinson in The Lion King, Robin Williams for Return of Jafar -- although they snagged him for the third.)
