Simba pride was great but the original was a little better Yep. I liked the second movie after a while. My only problem with it was that I didn't expect Simba to act the way he did. I wished they would've made him more like Mufasa instead of having him worry all the time. Totally agree. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I thought this one could've been longer, the first was this big Epic movie that won oscars, it felt like the 2nd one was just a follow-up for the Kiddies. But great story, great new songs. I love hopw Kiara is the opposite of Simba, lol, don't wanna be queen. So cute. I loved it

[/quote] I'm actually glad Simba was different to Mufasa, it showed the contrast between them. Also Simba had not had so much experience as Mufasa at this point

Yeah, but Simba went from brave warrior to wuss. It was disappointing. He got on my nerves in the second one. Except the We Are One Song, that was great, you could see parts of the old him shining through.

Not a wuss. He was new to being a parent, it would scare anyone, even a brave warrior.

At the beginning he was new with parenting, but what about when Kiara was older. Shouldn't Simba have learned by then not to hold on so tight? It bothers me that Simba doesn't really change views throughout the movie.

Thank You!
I'm a parent myself. You can love and care for your children and their safety without being a wuss,
hello.... Mufasa...

The first is fantastic but there is something aboot the second that makes it just as good if not a little better Cant quite put my finger on what makes it so good usally remakes and sequels are rubbish beyond belive

TLK, TLK2: SP, TLK 1 1/2: HM are the best Disney movies at all!
Simba's Pride is apparently most powerfull sequel, in my opinion.

SP is also one of the most moral disney films. It deals with issues such as prejudice and racisim. It also shows that one person/lion can make a difference.

I liked it but I was really surprised that Simba would be such a worry wart.
