I was thinking about the same thing King Kovu thought right after I saw The Lion King on stage back in 2005, but the others had prove their point because Simba's Pride is a DTV release and it came out a year after the broadway show was out in public. Not to mention, most of the songs from the sequel had been used in the broadway show too, though I'm not sure if it was suppose to be orginally made for the sequel, that leaves me confused. But other than that, it'd be nice to see the sequel taking place on stage, many will wonder what happens now that Simba is king of pride rock if people haven't seen the sequel yet. If that did happen, I know they'll add in new songs made for the show like they've done with the other disney broadway shows, including the new Little Mermaid one that just open not too long ago.

I was also thinking about that eva since i bought TLK broadway cd. I really think they should put it on. but some parts like 'Upendi' wouldn't really work unless they filled the whole theatre up with water and made leaf shaped boats and found a very gymnastic rafiki. That would be quite cool but there's probably some health and safety thing about it though!

I didn't think Upendi was such a great song... And i think it's more suited for a man to sing. I can't see the female Rafiki singing Upendi somehow. But I'd go and see it. They could give the Outlanders and Nala bigger parts than in the movie itself. And costume... what would Nuka, Zira and Kovu's masks be like?

I dont really know but Kovu's mask would have to have someway of puting a scar on and off.

I have just got back from seeing TLK in London. While 'Can you feel the love tonight' was playing all these random pairs of people or trees or watever were flying through the air like in Upendi.

Hmm....It's a very good idea. Can Nuka have a song? And as far as "He Lives in You" being in the first show goes, it doesn't mean that they can't use it in the sequel. Just sort of a re-reprise, I suppose. Nothing really wrong with that. Here's an idea; a flashback scene for Zira, explaining some of the things that fans are still confused on.

You mean like who was Kovu's father?

Yes, and her relation to Scar, why she and the Outlanders were exiled, exactly, and where she was when scar was killed.
