Laini smiled back and nodded. She pulled away and turned around, in the direction of Jiang's den. She started walking, and gestured with a paw for him to follow.

Jiang padded after her, Anara already forgotten, and curiosity about Laini replacing his thoughts of her.

((Bye!))
Laini forced herself to focus on the path ahead, rather than looking back at Jiang. There was something about him... something she couldn't identify. Maybe he was just different. It was possible.

Truthy yawned and sat up. She looked at Keirgo and sighed. She nuzzled his cheek. "Daddy..." She whispered softly. She wanted to talk to him. She sighed and looked outside. She stood up and exited the entrance. She sat down and let the wind blow on her fur. She looked at the sky. She then turned her head to look atthe outlands. "Im sorry Kisura..." She said softly almost non hear-able. She sniffled and layed down on the rock. It felt nice on her warm fur. It relaxed her.

After walking for a while, they arrived at Jiang's den. While Laini stopped, and had started to turn to face Jiang, the tiger hadn't noticed her stop and had walked right into her head-on. The impact was very soft, but it did put the somewhat shorter Laini's head right under Jiang's, as if the tiger had nuzzled over her head. "Oh, uh, sorry, Laini." He hastily apologized, taking a step back and giving her another sheepish smile.
"What is it, hon?" Keirgo asked, slowly opening one eye, and yawning. He was laying on the floor, and had been sleeping, up 'till now. "Is something wrong, Truthy."

Trthy turned her head and sighe. She shook her head and stood up.She walked back in with him and snuggled withhim. "No...Nothings wrong.. I just...My sister..." She said looking at the ground. She didnt know how she was doing.. alone. Her cub had probably come by now. She knew she was alone and in the outlands. No one was goin to help her with it. She his her head into Kiergos fur. She felt safe when she was touching his fur.

Laini blushed again and hastily made an attempt to apologize as well. She looked up, ending up looking into Jiang's eyes for a second before looking off to the side. "Well... bye." She said softly, starting to trot off, intent on finding a place to fling herself down and think about what had happened.

"Hey, wait." Jiang replied, moving alongside Laini before she could leave. "Are you OK?" He asked, worried that her actions and sudden departure were signs that he had, in some way, upset her. "I didn't upset or offend you, did I?"

"No! Not at all! The opposite!"Laini said, worried that Jiang had gotten the wrong opinion of her. She made another attempt to deny what he had asked before leaving, her cheeks bright pink.

Oh. Oh! Of course! Gods, I'm thick! Jiang thought, mentally laughing at himself as he watched Laini start to walk away. "Then please, meet me on top of Pride Rock, just before sunset. I'd like to talk to you again!" The tiger called after her, a hopeful smile on his muzzle. Once Laini was out of sight, the tiger sighed, smiled again, and headed into his den. While he hadn't planned on it, he too would take a little time to think.

Epesi laid in her den wide awake with her head on her paws.

((Do you want to do a time jump?))
Laini could only quicken her pace at Jiang's question. She felt as if her muzzle had been glued shut. She went all around Pride Rock before finding a small den just big enough for her. She burst into a huge grin, amazed that she hadn't said anything stupid the entire time she was with him

((Apology accepted! Time jumping!)) Laini arrived at the top of Pride Rock just before sunset. She looked around, expecting to see Jiang to come out of hiding at any second.

Jiang was sitting several feet back from the edge of the top, watching the sun as it slowly sank lower into the sky. The tiger turned around upon hearing paw-steps behind him, and saw Laini coming up to the top. "Hey Laini." He called out, a cheerful smile adorning his muzzle.

Laini jumped when she heard Jiang suddenly call out. She turned around, blushing lightly and smiling. "Hi! When did you get here?" she asked, not really feeling comfortable with starting a conversation. For a second she wondered if he had been calling someone else to sit up here with him. But she quickly banished the thought.

"Just a minute or two ago." The tiger replied, patting the ground next to him. "C'mon over, sit down and make yourself comfy." Jiang offered, beaming at Laini.
[Eeek! Short.]

"Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long." Laini said, padding over to Jiang and sitting down. She forced herself not to purr. If she did she'd blush even more.

Jiang let out a soft chuckle and smiled warmly at Laini. "You are worth waiting for, Lai." The tiger replied, turning his gaze out onto the horizon. "Beautiful, isn't it? I never saw sunsets like this back in China. The walls of my home valley blocked the view. But the sky... The sun painted some truly beautiful hues onto the clouds over the valley." He thought aloud, gazing admiringly at the African Sunset. The striped cat then turned his attention back to Laini again, a barely audible purr rumbling from him. "I didn't want to spend this evening by myself, and thanks to you, I won't. Thank you." He said, his smile growing that much warmer.
