Alright, so it comes down to these last five days before the show. Jeez, I'm so nervous! Anyway, so during the time most people are online, I won't be for the next week. I have dress rehearsals from 6:30 to 9 PM Monday, Tuesday, and and Wednesday this week. Thursday is our Preview Performance, which will be videotaped, so I won't be on from about 6 to 9 PM that evening. Friday is our Opening Performance, so I probably won't be on at all that day, same with this Saturday, and the following Friday and Saturday. The next couple Sundays, I'll be on during the afternoon only.

Thanks! I know not literally, I'm not THAT stupid. Just kidding of course.
And to everyone else, DO NOT WISH ME LUCK! You're just cursing me! No offense, but saying "Good Luck" in the theatre is bad luck!

Np dude. I used to be in to acting, so I know how you feel. It almost makes you want to throw up and jump up in excitement at the same time

Well, just ran the last part of the first Act of the show. I still haven't memorized some of my lines for Scenes Two and Three. AND WE'RE FOUR DAYS FROM OPENING! I'm hoping that I'll pull it together by Friday.

Thanks. I'm feeling much more confident, though still stressed, today. I was able to get through the scenes with missing only one or two lines. Still very stressful the week before opening night. One more regular rehearsal, then our Final Dress Rehearsal, and then Opening Night!
On the plus side, there was a little narration in Scene 3 that I totally HATED. The director cut it today because it kinda didn't make sense. That was great.
And people, remember: If you want to wish me luck, DON'T!!!

Two days now till Opening Night. Once again, feeling much more confident. The only scene I really need to work on is Scene Six, and I flubbed one tiny line in Scene Two today. I have pretty much Scenes One through Five down. And the improv lines between me (Scrooge) and Bob Cratchit (Scrooge's Employee/Human Workhorse) is pretty funny. Scene One is my absolute favorite because I get to act like a real jerk. I just get to unleash all the nastiness I want to during that scene. To prove that I'm just a real jerk, I actually raise my cane at two children wishing me a Merry Christmas. So fun ;D. I know, I'm evil. I'll be posting photos of me in both my regular costume (1800s era suit) and my Sleepwear (1800s era man's Nightrobe) sometime soon.
So tomorrow is our Final Dress Rehearsal/Preview Performance, and then it's onto Opening Night and the following nine performances. I'm feeling excited, anxious, confident, and nervous all at the same time. And remember, DON'T WISH ME LUCK! It's bad luck in the theatre.

Well, we just did our Final Dress Rehearsal/Run Through. It went pretty well. I had a friend record it for me and after reviewing the first act, there are MANY things that I can do that I didn't in the video. Luckily it's just a preview and not an actual show! We open tomorrow at 7:30 PM and I'm so excited, yet very nervous at the same time. It's my first role in front of a real audience in seven years! If you want to wish me luck, then DON'T! Saying "Good Luck" is bad luck in the theatre. I'm not superstitious, but I need all the help and support I can get. I can't stress that enough. Hope I break a leg!
BTW, this text is copied from what I posted on Facebook.
