"He was forced to leave his Pride in Africa when he pursued you, friend. Besides..." Jiang began, walking around the table and behind Cobby, one paw resting on the hilt of his katana. "You've only got two options here. Option A is, you and me walk peacefully out of here, and I take you to your 'daddy'. Option B... Well, let's just say you won't like it." He continued, pulling his katana a few inches out of his hilt, to show that if Cobby tried something, it would only take a split second for Jiang to decapitate him.
Aisha's blood ran cold in her veins. Jiang had changed since she had last seen him. Yes, he was still the same good-natured, kind, and gentle tiger she had come to trust, he now had a cold and dangerous side about him. Whatever had happened to bring that side out in him, it had to be horrible.

Cobby glared at Jiang and then gave a blunt laugh. "You don't know him. " He said turning with Jiang the whole time always facing him. "You are stupider than i thought if you believe him." He said sneering at Jiang. "He goes no where without the pride." He growled. "That much i know. He brings the pride with him wherever he goes. It is such a large pride that they will have no trouble running out anyone who dared to take their land in their absnece." He growled. "Oh i'd say i'd have to pick option B because there is no f***ing way i am going to quietly let you take me to my father."

"Good... I like a challenge!" Jiang roared, grabbing onto Cobby's shoulders with both paws, ripping the lion out of his seat, then whirling him around and knocking him off his feet, then slamming him face-first into the ground. Jiang put his knee in the small of Cobby's back, using his body weight to keep the lion pinned, while he grabbed the lion's wrists and began to move to pin them behind Cobby's back. All this happened within three seconds.
Aisha was shocked. She had always been faster than Jiang... And now he was moving so fast it was almost unnatural! What had he become in the years that had passed since their last encounter? Hopefully, Cobby would be able to shrug off the tiger and flip the tables on him... But Aisha doubted it.

Cobby roared in fury and flipped himself over on top of Jiang and put all his weight down knocking the wind out of the tiger. While the tiger recovered he jumped up and latched his teeth onto Jiang's scruff. He then jerked his head up and threw Jiang into a wall. Cobby was going back to his more primitive fighting skills of using his teeth and pure strength to fling Jiang into the wall.

[Right.]
Jiang flicked a little dust off his shoulder and rolled his head to loosen his neck muscles as he climbed out of the tiger-sized hole in the wall. "So that's how it's going to be?" He asked, drawing his katana and wielding it in the traditional Samuri style. "So be it." He stated, his voice calm and controlled. If Cobby was going to fight with tooth and claw, then he would fight with cold, unyielding metal. The tiger lept at Cobby, faking a diagonal slash aimed at the lion's right shoulder. When Cobby dodged it, the tiger landed an excessively brutal kick right to the maned feline's chest, sending him flying back into a pillar. Jiang lept forward, and immediatly pressed the tip of the blade into Cobby's throat, but standing far enough away that Cobby couldn't try to attack him. "Bad kitty, now stop it, so I don't have to spill your blood all over the restaurant."
Cobby never got a chance to reply, though. A moment after Jiang spoke, the tiger made a soft mew sound, then collapsed in a panting heap, revealing Aisha, who had been standing behind him. "Nerve strikes." She quietly explained, stepping over Jiang's immobilized form and using a paw to tilt Cobby's chin up while she examined his neck. "He'll be out of it for a good while. Please, pick Jiang up and follow me, I'll explain when we've gotten to my house in the forest. Trust me on this."

Before Cobby did as Aisha asked he leaned down to kiss her. He then straightened back up and looked into her soft eyes. "Thank you, I wasn't sure if you would be on my side" He said smiling at her then picking up the immobilized Jiang. He was so happy that Aisha had chosen him over Jiang. It made the bond between them stronger and heightened his trust in her.

Aisha smiled and nuzzled Cobby's cheek affectionatly. "I'm on your side, and I'm also on Jiang's... I don't know what's wrong with him, but he's not in his right mind. I grew up with him... The Jiang I know, trust, and love as a brother would never do something like this to you. He'd never even consider it." She replied, watching Cobby pick up Jiang. "Come on, let's go, before the Magistrate, or worse, the Furious Five, show." She added as an afterthought, leading Cobby out the door and down a street.
*Around thirty minutes later*
"Here we are." Aisha called back over her shoulder, smiling at Cobby. Before her lay a old but quaint orchard with a equally idyllic farmhouse situated off to the side of the groves of fruit trees. "This place place belonged to my father. It should be the perfect place to get Jiang's mind back on the right track, and plus, it's isolated. Though I bet you already knew that thanks to the miles of forest we trekked through!" She laughed, smiling at her love as she unlocked the door and swung it open for him.

Cobby gave her a look and shook the leaves and twigs that had caught in his mane out. He then set Jiang down. He got out a couple of chains and tied his paws and with them. "I didn't think that ropes would work" He said smiling at Ashia. He then stepped back and looked at Jiang. Though he was immobilized his eyes moved around restlessly. "Can you do anything that will allow us to talk to him quicker." He asked Ashia.

Aisha nodded, then kneeled beside Jiang, who's ankles and upper legs were bound with chain, and his upper body chained around the chest and waist to a sturdy wooden support beam in the center of a room, with his ankles locked behind it. She applied pressure with her paw-fingers to various pressure points on his upper back, chest, and lower back, then sat cross-legged and placed both paws in her lap. Jiang coughed after Aisha finished, but perhaps to her surprise, he made no attempt to break out of the chains. "Wha... I.. Aisha!?!? What the... You... You're supposed to be dead!" He said, ears flattening against his head and eyes widening in genuine surprise. He then tried to move, but failed when he discoved that he was chained up. "Wha... What are you doing to me?"Aisha's jaw dropped. While at first, she thought Jiang was just pretending to have blacked out and forgotten what had happened, she then realized that he wasn't faking it. When he had blacked out after she knocked him out in the restaurant... Something else had happened to him. She looked up at Cobby, with an expression of complete and undisguised shock on her face. "Cobby? You're dad isn't adept at brainwashing or something, is he?" [Sorry for any confusion resulting from this, decided that Jiang's too much of a 'good guy' to be a willing pawn of Cobby's father. ]

(It's fine J ;D)
Cobby looked at Aisha and shook his head. "He isn't" He said looking down. "But one of the lionesses in the pride was a sorcerous." He said and looked back at Jiang. He shook his head and sat down. He placed his fingers on the bridge of his nose and rubbed. "This is more complicated than i thought." He said shaking his head.

Jiang slightly c0cked his head, then frowned. "Uh, guys? Wanna fill me in? If not, untie me so I can get home before my daughter, Kia Min, does. I don't want her to be home alone." He asked, straining against the chains a little.
Aisha glared at Jiang for a split second, then ignored him and focused on Cobby. "Well, what could she do to affect a mind? How long did whatever she do last? A few days?"

"It's suppose to last until something drastic happens to the body of whoever the spell was placed on" Cobby said also ignoring Jiang. "I suppose the nerve attacks could count as something drastic but I still wonder why my father would be looking for me." Cobby then sighed. "Maybe i should just go see what he wants before he does something to another person." Cobby said shaking his head.

"Ok, guys, sorry to disturb your oh-so-lovely little chat, but could someone please tell me why the bloody hell I'm chained up, and when I can go home to my daughter!" Jiang roared, having clearly reached the end of his patience.
Aisha glared at Jiang again, only to have him glare back. "Cobby, you want to tell Jiang that he's been brainwashed, that he tried to kill you earlier today, and that he's not going home until we're sure that he's in his right mind?" She asked, smiling at the lion. "Oh, and you'll have to run me over if you want to even start thinking about so much as talking to your father." She added, stepping up to Cobby and letting her smile grow.

Cobby couldn't help but smile a little at Ashia. "Alright alright" He said holding his hands up in surrender. He then sat down by Jiang and recounted the events since Jiang had shown up at the hotel room. Of course he left out the personal details but he did tell Jiang that he was Ashia's mate now. "That about sums it up" Cobby said when he was finished.

Jiang frowned, sighed, then hung his head in shame. "I don't remember most of today... Just... Going to the magistrate's office this morning to pick up a work form for a project I'm working on -I'm a carpenter- and I ran across this stunningly beautiful lioness. I tried to ignore her and just get my documents, but, she cornered me after I left, and... Well, I dont' remember anything at all after that. Could you just untie me now? I really want to go home to Kia Min now. She'll be home by now, and she'll go hungry if I don't get home to make her supper."
"Well... Cobby, what do you think? Should we let him go? Surely Kia Min's mother can handle making her dinner, right?" Aisha asked, looking down at her mate. But the sad look that crept onto Jiang's face after she mentioned the girl's mother told her that Kia Min's mother was no longer among the living.

Cobby shook his head. "They may be tracking him." He said and sighed. He only knew of one sorcerous in his fathers pride and he had been very much in love with her before his father had banished him. They had had dreams for each other and had spent many wonderful nights together. He really hoped he didn't have to see her. He had loved her but that was before she had betrayed him along with his father. He hated her now.
"I think it's best if we untie him and follow him." Cobby said. "That way we will know if something happens." He said and started to free Jiang.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the first thing Jiang did when he was untied, was leave. He didn't ask any more questions or even speak, the tiger just got to his paws and walked out the door. By the time Aisha had made it to the door to give chase, the tiger had broken into a feral run, and had dissapeared into the woods.
Aisha threw her paws up in frustration as she reached the door. "Great, he's already out of sight." She sighed, slowly shaking her head. "Come on, if we want to have any hope of following him, we should get moving." The feline said to Cobby, before breaking into a feral run of her own to catch up with the tiger.

Cobby nodded and began to run after the tiger. He used his nose to tell him where the tiger was heading. It would seem he was headed to a neighboring village that was about five miles from the valley of peace.
(Sorry it's shot)

Aisha followed after Cobby for a while, until her nose detected that the tiger had doubled back and gone a different direction. "Cobby, he doubled back somewhere around here! Jiang's going back to the Valley of Peace!" Aisha called out, turning and bolting back towards the Valley.
Sure enough, Jiang had managed to shake them over ten minutes ago. They had only now figured it out. The tiger had already arrived in the village underneath the Jade Palace, and had begun to mingle with the crowds filling the streets as he made his way home. He felt that he had managed to shake their trail, all that was left now was to get home and make Kia Min her dinner!
