[[ I've been getting alot of new ideas lately, sorry for all the different rping topics. ]]
This one takes place in the future, hundreds of years ahead of present day. Technology has been taken to a whole new level, we now have created a simulated life form. Many different companies made many different models, Such as mac and windows make different computer systems. But the fine line between robots and their masters is being crossed, and robots are trying to take over the world! Robots are built much stronger and stable than humans, but they are not built for emotion. They only feel resentment and hate, for the ones who have enslaved them for years. The humans.
We find ourselves in the only safe part of the world, the rest is a junkyard for all the defective robots and garbage that humans produce. There are robot forces patrolling the streets at night, and there have been reports on attacks from the robots. Human life now depends on robots, and the robots are starting to use that to their advantage. There are a few robot fighters, who destroy any defective and dangerous robots.
The robots do have weaknesses, like anything. They can be given viruses, but you must hack into their electronic brain, and risk making the robot mad completely. And the downfall to that is that they can upgrade themselves, making it harder to hack them. One sure-fire way to kill them is to dislodge their head, and then separate their battery (located in their back) and destroy it completely. Shooting is less effective, but it still can stop a robot dead in it's tracks.
So, you can join in whenever, no need to ask. Try to explain a little bit about your character's looks and personalities on your first few posts.
No one liners; take some pride in your work. I understand if you were in a hurry, but don't do it all the time.
NO MAKING YOUR CHARACTER UNBEATABLE! ALL CREATURES MUST HAVE WEAKNESSES!
Try not to use much magic, since this is more of a technology story.
Fighting is getting pretty boring, so try not to fight to much. Any fighting should be robot vs. human. If you want me to make an exception, PM me.
Thank you for reading all the stuff above before posting, I really appreciate it.

[ ] Name:MOMO (Multiple Observative Mimetic Organicus) Mizrahi Gender: Female Height: 4' 8" (141 cm) Weight: 79 lbs (36 kg) Age: Appears around 12 Hair: Pink Eyes: Gold Past: Originally, MOMO was created by the scientist Joachim Mizrahi for the purpose of "reincarnating" his U-DO infected daughter Sakura Mizrahi. However, following Sakura's death, Joachim Mizrahi seemed to become even more obsessed with resurrecting his dead daughter. As in the tale of Pinocchio, Mizrahi told the developing MOMO that if she did good deeds, one day she could become a real human girl; that she could actually become Sakura. It is not entirely clear whether or not Mizrahi really attempted to incarnate Sakura's spirit into MOMO.
Weapons:MOMO's first weapon appears to be some sort of short mystical rods. The rods could be used to hit the enemies or have the ability to shoot some sort of musical or petal themed laser beams at the enemies. Her second weapon is an Ether-Based Composite Bow. This causes all her attacks to become long range. MOMO's Ether Bow bears the name "LEGOLAS" on its surface. MOMO starts with her ether bow again, this time the name of this default weapon is officially Compound VI.

Name: Jack Saget Age: 37 Race: Human Affiliation: The Anti-Robot Human Resistance Movement [ARHRM or pronounced simply "arm".] Appearance: Assuming the world is in the post-apocalypic mess I think it's in, he's forced to dress shabbily like he is, because what's left is also a ruined mess, only barely settled/survivable: Weapons: A Gnasher shotgun, Boltok heavy Revolver, a 12-inch fighting blade, and a rifle that can double as a sniper/assault carbine at the flick of a switch. Most importantly, are the "special" cartridges Jack carries. They are codenamed "Fenrir" shells, and pack a powerful EMP charge. When fired, they are primed to go off using a pressure switch. When the switch is depressed, the internal mechanism causes the charged coils to meltdown, and cause a powerful EM pulse, completely frying the circutry of the hit robot, destroying it permanently. He carries 40 of these shells on a bandolier, and 10 real shotgun shells, for organic-slaying purposes. Personality: Jack hates robots immensely, and therefore is especially cold when destroying them. He has only 2 good friends, and refuses to befriend others, on the principal of numbers. Recruits stand a strong chance of dying; if you survive your first year on combat ops, your chances of survival double, and he will consider getting to know you. He has gotten this way, because he's gotten tired of remembering the names of people who end up dying on duty. Background: The day the robots went rebel, Jack was underground mining orispa ore, and along with 2-300 other miners, survived the initial world-razing. Using mining equipment, they were able to escape to the only remaining safe-zone on earth, and pitched in to help repell robot attacks. The fate of his wife is unknown, but she is assumed dead and he deeply hates bots for this reason. He is ornery, wiley, and mean when required. His methods usually get the job done, despite the loss of human life on occasion.

[[ Yes, the human life is in a state of messiness. Many people look like what we would call poor, and dress in shaggy clothes. You can jump in anytime! Christian looks like the robots in I Am Robot. He has blue eyes when he is a normal bot, but his eyes turn red when he is crazy/ready to kill something. His metal is designed to be very strong, yet he is very agile as well. That is the normal strengths of the cop-bots. He isn't very pretty to look at, and is in fact on of the earlier, more primitive models of the cop-bots. Now they had more natural-looking bots. His weaknesses include many defects of the earlier models. He doesn't have many weapons, making him have to use his strength and get up close to the enemy. This makes it easy to stick a bullet in his forehead. He also can't work without his head, since that is where his brain is. Most of the newer robots can be charged, eliminated the need for bulky batteries, that need to be replaced every few days. Christian does not have this luxury, so he often needs to replace his batteries. ]]

"Good morning, X277O. Status check." X277O reviewed 'his' status. "Everything is perfect." he replied in a cold, emotionless voice. It was melodic, but strangely empty at the same time. "Good. Good..." Dr. Humbert whispered, checking to make sure everything was correct with X277O's assembly. "It seems everything is fine, X277O. I'll come back to see you in a few minutes." the doctor said finally. When Dr. Humbert was gone, X277O walked to the mirror and looked at himself curiously. He touched the mirror with one metal finger, and quickly pulled it away when the figure in the mirror reacted the same way.
Then the doctor came in, and forcefully turned off the robot. Then Dr. Humbert loaded X277O into the big truck that carried all the other models, and they were drove to the markets, to be bought. It was then that he vowed to kill every last human on the earth.
It was a cold night. X2 walked down the street, as was his job. He walked down the streets at night, looking for humans. "Every thing's clear down Ray." X2 said, informing the main bots. They were the government now that humans were outlawed.
X2 rounded the corner. It was completely black on this street. X2 adjusted his eyes, so that he could see, only to find someone's fist right in his face. He stepped back a few steps, his metal hand over the new indent on his face. "We got one, D4. Send some others up here, I'm gonna need some help finishing this one off." he said into the microscopic phone built in his ear. He looked at the human in front of him, and his eye color switched from blue, to red.

"now are you alright MOMO?" a man asks inspecting MOMO's wireing "yes master mizrahi evrything checks out" "good good you are free to go and try not to get into any bad predicaments"Joachim tells her as she walks off.MOMO finally gets out of the large building only to see a human and a robot apparently having a problem with eachother and runs over "hey! are you guys ok?"she asks looking from robot to human"may i help in any way?"

X2 grabs the human by the neck, and lifts him up into the air. His head turns to the approaching bot, still holding the struggling human in the air. "Good evening. I do not need help. Just taking out the trash." he said mechanically. He envied her model of bot. It was much more normal than his. He was like a '95 windows computer, and she was a Windows Vista. BIG difference.
X2 nodded at MOMO, and then walked down the street, towards the gate. There was now only one huge place that everyone lived in, and it was fenced off. The rrest of the world is run by defective robots. They are highly dangerous, and destroy ANYTHING they see. That is also where they dump all the 'defective' humans. *evil laugh*
[[ And I made another mistake. Humans aren't outlawed, and there can still be the human government. Just, pretty much, robots are in the backround trying to get rid of us. We are considered a pest. Like mosquitoes! So, think of it like the robots are zombies. Really really fast, strong, and smart zombies. The humans are slowly being pushed out of the picture. Every night robots patrol the streets, getting rid of a few humans that they see. ]]

[[ lol, '95 is probably less problematic than vista OS!! XD ]]
A very dirty, haggard man patrolled the blurry "bot-light", a pun off "Bug-light". It was a 30 ft. tall "wall" of sorts; it was a big, blue electric field, lethal to the robot populace. The solid-blue field was punctuated by several deep-blue amorphous waves passing randomly through the field, like the surface of a calm lake. He was there for the construction of the wall, and helped give it it's nick-name, because when a bot touched it, they fried literally like a moth would a bug light.
Down below, he could see hundreds of pairs of different "eyes", calmly looking up at him especially. The bright blue glow of the wall bathed everything in shadow; he could not see their bodies, but the photo receptors stood out. "Filthy tin cans..." Jack spat. None of the robots below did anything, aside from several pacing back and forth, never stopping their gaze. Jack shook his head, and kept walking along the wall.

[[ lol XD ]]
X2 walked over to the big fence, and threw the human over with ease. Humans had built those walls, enclosing themselves. It was so that the defective bots didn't hurt any more 'innocent' people. He laughed as the human screamed for mercy, the defective bots closing in on him. "Play nice!" he called, walking off.
"X2. They are at the wall." a voice rang in his ear. "Oh? I'll be there soon." he answered.
Some humans tried to fight against the more powerful bots. Their pathetic attempts made him laugh. But a few clans actually knew what they were doing. Saget's group was good. He had some good engineers, but the bots could usually attack the weapons from a distance.

Jack continued to patrol the area, Gnasher resting quietly on his shoulder. He growled, hearing what might've been a scream in the black distance, shook his head 3 times, and continued. About 1:45 am, he heard noise. From INSIDE the camp. A moment later, a very disheveled young teen, scrawny and nerdy looking, came tromping up the stairs. "I was sent to bring you your lunch, sir." He said, handing him a very beaten up old lunch-box. "Much appreciated, maddox." He rasped, in his gravely old tone. He gratefully accepted it, popped the two metal holders, and went for the most important (to him) part of the entire box. Opening a massive thermos, he inhaled deeply the lusicous scent of thick, home-made chicken noodle soup. The warm liquid, vegetables, and chicken heated his insides, banishing the cold settled in from the pre-winter weather. He set the rest of the lunchbox down on the thick stone wall, which was behind the electro-field, and ate in silence. Maddox waited for his dimissal patiently, behind Jack, who leaned thoughtfully over the fence.
"D@mnable creations, they are...." Jack grated, after a swallowing a large chunck of turkey sandwich. "Sir?" Maddox asked, stepping to the wall and looking over. He shuddered, meeting 23 pairs of patiently waiting eyes. "Cold, and unfeeling. They were created to be everything humans weren't. We got what we wanted, and brought this upon ourselves from laziness." He said, snarling once, hocking, and sending a thick loogie out over the fence, where it landed on an empty, dirty street. Not a single pair of eyes moved. Maddox studied them all intently, transfixed by Jack's words. "D'you think we'll ever beat 'em all, sir?" Maddox asked. "All in time, Maddie. All in time. Sure, maybe not in our generation, or even my lifetime. They're still just hunks of fancy metal, all the same. Humans are different. Our existence might be wretched, but we are so much better than them in so many ways.... Probably part of the reason they're trying to destroy us. They're jealous." He said, finishing the sandwich and moving onto a wrapped pile of meat.

"Jealous... Yes. That seems reasonable. But, you are contradicting yourself. If, in fact, our purpose was to be everything humans aren't, then we would have no emotion." a robot said from behind the gate. It did not seem upset, or angry, or even hurt. A creature with emotion would most likely feel one of those after hearing what Raf said. "You humans are quite peculiar." the robot added.

Jack listened a moment, and chuckled. "You ARE intended to be everything humans aren't." He repeated; Maddox himself looked confused a moment. "Humans contradict ourselves every day, of every week, of every month, of every year, since the beginning of time." Jack said; Maddox stared. "Our imperfections allow us to function much better, and more smoothly than any robot ever could." He said; Maddox's eyes lit up in recognition of the statement. "Robots, as a rule, must operate in a logical fashion. VERY restraining. It can't happen. Humans on the other hand operate so well without following logic patterns, it's literally our 2nd nature. It's also why we're going to win this war." Jack rasped, taking a massive bite out of a steak in the wrapping.

"Yes. That must be why we see the outcome much differently. " the bot answered, and another pair of staring eyes opened in the darkness. Every second the eyes seemed to be multiplying. The talking bot would have seemed to be enjoying this, if their creators did not know better. "But you know, not all of us want this. I wish you people could have enough brains to create us with the ability to think of football, females, or puppy dogs. But all I can think of are seven ways to kill you right now." The darkness added. The robot's eyes were blue, not the evil red they were so often. That was a good sign, the bot would be able to control himself...for now.

Jack and maddox laughed heartily at the apparent joke the robot just made. "Stupid trash compactor. Humans can do BOTH!" Jack said, dismissively. "1-up, humans." Maddox said, nodding in agreement. Jack took little notice of the plethora of photoreceptors winking on more and more. They usually did this, and it amounted to nothing. Still, Jack was wise to sit down behind the stone barrier, obscured from all views but directly above. Maddox, though a rookie, new to follow the lead of the "Old Salts", and scampered behind cover as well.

"Then perhaps we are not as different as we seem." There were a few eyes turning to glare at the speaking robot, and a few bots hushing him, but that did not bother him. "I suppose you also think you are not to blame, and we are the ones at fault?" he accused, still calm.

"God, this clanker is getting on my nerves." Jack rumbled, angrilly. From his spot behind the wall, he grabbed a pulse-grenade, which was long, and cylindrical in shape. Yellow and black caution tape ran around the circumference of the top and bottom portions of the grenade; the rest was gray. Twisting the black top, Jack pulled it off, ignoring the high-pitched keen the grenade was beginning to emit, like the flash-charger of a camera. Maddox watched intently, as he used 3 fingers to punch in a code on the dial-phone-pad on the flat top of the frag. The numbers and comands whizzed by, electric blue on a black screen. "Here. You do the honors, kid." He said, handing maddox the primed grenade. Though it was expressely forbidden by regulations for trainee's to handle live weaponary, Jack thought the best training was actual combat experience, and was notorious among the disciplinary committie for allowing n00bs to handle and use live arms. Maddox grinned widely, pulled the pin on the side and pulled the handle, until it jutted out the side at a 90 o angle, and threw it as it began to beep. Throwing it hard and low, it skittered off the dirt twice, at the feet of dense clump of robots. Some ran, others turned to run, but the 10 or so around it knew they didn't have time, and stayed put. It went off with a loud "FWEWZZZZZZZZZzzzz....." and emmited what looked like heat-vapor around it. At once, the 10 dropped. No twitching or spasming, or whirring, or anything. Just dropped. Like a sack of dirt. Clanky-clatter-clink, x10. Others were caught in the splash-back effect, causing another 3 casualties. The lucky few who'd escaped the wave, were the ones that began to malfunction with all the stereotypical drama. "That was frigging AWESOME!!" Maddox gushed, now behind cover. Jack only cracked a tiny grin, and bit down on the steak again. [[[ Did I really just blow 1 1/2 paragraphs on the use of a single grenade? Here's how it looks, BTW: fc05.deviantart.com/images/i/2002/46/a/a/Emp_grenade.jpg ]]]
