[ Plot: Loose and fairly flexible, plenty of room for ideas. Basically, it takes place a week or so after Kung-Fu Panda's ending. Read below for plot/intro thingy.
A week has passed since Tai Lung's defeat. All is relatively well in the Valley of Peace. However, trouble is brewing: Tai Lung survived, and has recruited help in the form of a seductive snow leopardess named Aisha.
In the Valley itself, life continues as usual. The Furious Five train day in and day out, Po eats and cooks like there's no tommorow, and a certain Tiger has come into possesion of a forbidden and extremely dangerous scroll. Shifu has learned of the scroll, and has sent Master Tigress and whoever she needs to find and bring it back to the temple. However, Aisha is also racing to find the cursed relic, and she is closing in fast. To make matters even more interesting, the Tiger who found it has a dark past, and refuses to trust either side, hiding the Scroll away from both the Furious Five and Aisha.
It's only a matter of time, though. Sooner or later, Aisha will use her charms and beauty to persuade him, or Tigress will make him see the truth and give her the scroll to be destroyed. Which one will find this Tiger first, and persuade him to do their bidding?
Rulez: More or less, well, none. But here are some good base rules to follow anyways. 1: Kung-Fu esque magic only, please. 2: No undefeatable chars. 3: God-Modding posts will be ignored and/or edited clear into hell itself.
NOTE: I want to have at least one or two people express interest in this RP before I kick it off. So, if you'd like to give it a shot, sound off! ;D ]

[Cool! Sorry though Sin, no humans or chars based on real-life humans here.]
Jiang yawned, scratched the back of his head, then yelped in shock as the hammock he was laying in tipped sideways and dumped him onto the floor. He landed with a heavy 'Thwump' noise, knocking several small items off the shelves in his bedroom. He rubbed the now-sore back of his head as he picked himself up off the floor, grumbling something how he needs to buy a actual bed. Once on his feet, the Tiger washed his face, got dressed in his usual clothes, a light brown dogi [ooc: pants too if the dogi is just the top piece, I can't remember] and leather sandals, and headed downstairs to face the day.
Jiang left his house, stretched, and looked about. It was relatively early in the day, and few people were up, save for the Furious Five at the Palace. Maybe a brisk morning walk would do him good, and maybe it would help ease his worries over the scroll he had discovered. So that's exactly what he did, he started walking in a broad lap around the village.
Aisha, a snow leopardess of nearly unaparrelled beauty, padded along towards the Valley of Peace. Her objective was relatively simple: Find and recover a scroll held by a reclusive tiger in the valley. She simply hoped that the Furious Five, especially that pesky Master Tigress, didn't get in the way.

Already having taken to the streets of the village, Tigress was certainly in no frame of mind to expect trouble. The villagers seemed in high spirits while she perused the marketplace. It was her turn to do the grocery shopping, as it were, and it proved not always an easy task. There were usually those quite interested in chatting with one of the visiting Furious Five, particularly the young ones. Hence, an early-morning start would turn an otherwise simple trip into a several-hour ordeal. It was no wonder, then, why she had not seen Jiang walking the streets, listening to and conversing with the townspeople while she attempted to perform this shopping ritual. She, on the other hand, might be easily pointed out given the small crowd that seemed to have perpetually surrounded her.
(( for IC reference, is Tigress going to know Aisha from past history or no? ))

[Hmm... Yes, but the others at the Jade Palace don't know her. Only Tigress.]
Jiang paused as his walk took him to the marketplace, where a small crowd of youngsters were clustered around Master Tigress, peppering her with rapid-fire questions. He had to admit, it was quite amusing. He walked up to the group of children, and cleared his throat to get their attention. "Shouldn't you little ones be in school?" He said, smiling warmly at the youngsters. It took only a few moments for the little cluster to disperse, scattering in seemly random directions. The Tiger chuckled softly and shook his head, then looked up at Master Tigress, nodding slightly in greetings.

Her eyes wandered instantly to Jiang when he assumed control of the younger crowdgoers and she met his nod with a raise of her brows and a sigh to signify her gratitude without saying it. With a flick of her tail, she turned her attention to the vendor and inspected the produce he was selling. "You're out early today," she noted to the other, raising a papiya to look more closely at it. "Not going to train with the others this morning?" As she returned her calm gaze to him, the fruit was placed into the wicker basket in her posession. Had she known about the scroll he'd found, she might be less careless to see him off of the Palace grounds. As it were, though, the scroll remained still a secret.

Jiang shook his head. "No. I've got some things to deal with here in the village this morning." He replied, crossing his arms over his chest. He glanced over his shoulder at the children, who had finally gotten into the school. He was honestly surprised that Tigress knew him, he normally kept a very low profile. It was a pleasent surprise, however. He gave the master a small smile, then resumed speaking. "I take it you pulled grocery duty."

(( Oh! I misread your first post XD I thought Jiang was coming from the palace so assumed Tigress would know him at least some. No worries! I'll fix myself lol ))
Knew him? No. Knew of him? Certainly. The overprotective Master Tigress had made it a point to at least learn some about some of the villagers, particularly those who made an effort to keep themselves unknown. It's how she keeps an eye on potential troublemakers. Though a warrior's heart beats powerfully in her breast, she is not without compassion, and Jiang had yet to do anything to arouse suspicion. Upon his mention of the task she was performing, a mild grunt was the first annotation of response. "Remedial and unpleasant tasks reinforce discipline," she comments, inspecting another papiya before placing it into the basket with the other, a process repeated several times before paying for the fruit and beginning toward the next stand where rice was being sold. "Though remedial, I suppose calling this one unpleasant isn't proper. It does get me out of the palace." She looked to him and carried her eyes up and down his frame. "No basket? What brings you to the market today?"

Jiang's smile faded somewhat at Tigress's query. "I was just walking through." He replied, more or less honestly. His smile then warmed just a bit and he let out a short chuckle. "And I need to buy a bag of flour." He added with a shrug. He did find it surprising that any of the Furious Five would devote time to grocery shopping, when they could have one of the palace guards perform the task. He had just opened his muzzle to say something more, when a flying bowl of noodle soup narrowly missed both him and Tigress, catching the fruit vendor square in the face, knocking him over. "I'd say there's another fight at Mr. Peng's place." He sighed, rubbing his brow and turning on his heel to head over to the restaurant.

Had it not been for the trained, sensitive ears atop her head, Tigress' instinct probably would not have triggered her to roll away from the projectile. Unfortunately the bystander was not so fortunate. Quickly setting the basket down, she watched the shop keeper groan and get back up, dazed but relatively unharmed. Her eyes narrowed and turned in the direction of the bowl. Following a step behind the other tiger, she put on the 'game face'; businesslike and serious. Once passing the archway that led into the modest restaurant courtyard, she stood at Jiang's side and set her hands on her hips, tilting her head while looking toward the fray with an impatiently disapproving expression.

Jiang couldn't help but grin at the sight of around three rabbits, a tiger, six pigs, and a Rhino all b eating the tar out of each other. He shook off the grin, adopted a deadly serious expression, then let loose a earthshaking, thunderous roar. It gave one of the Rabbits and most of the pigs a severe case of fright, for they bolted right past Jiang and into the street, leaving a more managable number of foes. Jiang sighed, shrugged, and waded right into the battle. He ducked a punch from the Rhino, and retaliated by performing a series of rapid-fire nerve strikes, dropping the beast in a split second. Before a nearby pig could react, Jiang had done the same to it, dropping it in the most painless and effective way possible. Now they were down to just the Tiger, two rabbits, and pig. Maybe now they'd stop fighting, with a little persuasion.

Tigress, however, wasn't so quick to move into the battle, regardless how much part of her wanted to. Two martial artists, though, were a definingly overwhelming match for the untrained villagers. She watched Jiang's style with a level of impress. Nerve strikes were not an easy thing to learn, yet he seemed to have a solid grasp on the techniques. She arched an eyebrow as one fell, then another, with efficient speed. Perhaps there was more to this other tiger that she'd failed to investigate! The unfamiliar tiger, however, didn't seem too eager to give up just yet, nor was he incredibly adept at paying attention to his surroundings since the position he moved himself in to attack Jiang told her that he hadn't seen her standing -right there-. Tigress tightened her jaw and used her foot to flip a rock up, much in the fashion of a hacky sack, and sent it flying with a simple side kick. All that was immediately heard was the *thump* of the small stone landing square enough between the tiger's ears and with enough force to knock him forward onto his face. "Enough!" She commanded from her place in the archway, setting her foot back down and glaring at the remaining combatants, daring them to continue in the presence of Jiang and herself.

The remaining combatants, save for the tiger, all booked it out of the side entrance. Jiang watched with a amused smile tugging on his lips, then he walked up to the Tiger and helped him up. After warning the other male away from fights, he sent him out the side entrance. Jiang brushed some dust off his clothes, then walked back to Tigress. "I'm just going to leave those two there for the guards to deal with." He said, pointing with his thumb back at the paralyzed rhino and pig.

Tigress nodded her head once in reply to Jiang, crossing her arms over her chest and passing a stern glare toward the shop owner. It was no secret; if she had her way this place would be shut down. Rice wine, indeed. All it's brought is trouble. She turned on her heels with a flick of her tail and joined Jiang in departing back to the spot where she'd left the food she'd come to get. "Where did you learn your technique?" She asked the other. "I don't see that taught here since Master Oogway passed away."

Jiang shrugged in response. "Well... I learned it while studying under Master Yi-Shan, of the Kim-Sung Valley Sanctuary. I don't normally use it though, I'm much better with Tiger style and my blade." He said, smiling faintly. "I haven't used it in combat in many years, but I train every single day." He added. Jiang had, to be honest with himself, enjoyed the battle he had just been in. It felt good to be able to flex his muscles in battle again. Though he'd rather flex them in a sparring match. Which gave him a idea. "Master Tigress, I have a question. Are there any guards or warriors at the Jade Palace who might be interested in sparring with me?"

"Well the Jade Palace is not a school open to just any student," Tigress informed, paying the shopkeeper for the rice that was waiting for her. "Master Shifu is very selective about who trains there. And the guards?" She can't resist a wry smirk. "They are just that. A brute force, they do not spar as we do." She turned to face him and flicked an ear, silent for a moment, studying the other. It might be interesting to test her skill against someone of her own style. On the other side she could not accurately judge his mastery by his brief display earlier. Would he be a challenge? She couldn't tell. One doesn't earn the title of most fearsome fighter in China so easily. Soon, though, she allowed a smile to slide over her muzzle and inclined her chin. "Why don't you drop by later this afternoon. I will inform Master Shifu that you are visiting on my invitation. I will face you, if you feel up to it."

Jiang nodded in thanks. "All right, thank you Master Tigress." He replied, bowing slightly. He looked forewards to it. This would be interesting, and it would be a excellent learning experience. "Hmm... It's getting late, I need to go to work. I'll see you later, then." He thought aloud, turning and starting to walk down the street and around a corner, heading to the small bakery he owned.

Tigress returned the bow and watched him depart toward the bakery. All the way to the bakery. In her mind she began studying what she had experienced today and her curiosity was beginning to cultivate. There was something deeper about that one than she could put a paw on, she could sense it. Almost as though he were hiding something. His technique? His demeanor? Something told her that not all the pieces of this puzzle were fitting properly. She turned to proceed up the road to the stairs of the Jade Palace, pausing briefly to look back over her shoulder toward the bakery again with a suspicious frown. Perhaps during the course of their match she will learn more..
