Hmm...maybe that was because they knew some Pro-Scar lionesses were around and knew if Scar sounded displeased they would tear apart anybody who caused that problem. And fled immediately after he shouted out of fear of the lionesses overhearing and coming to see what was going on.
Point Tearthgrrl ;D

Yes, but as many pro-scar lionesses their were around, there were hundreds more hyenas that would no doubt defend the trio if they were in trouble(After seeing how the lion king ended, i'm inclined to beleive that the other hyenas work under the trio.) Also, when war broke out, the hyenas fought against the lionesses who were not pro-scar. So why would the trio and their buddies be afraid of tangling with a few more lionesses? What it came down to was that they were scared. They only went after Scar when he was alone. And, as I've said numerous times WITH AN ENTIRE CLAN BEHIND THEM! What does that really say about them? cough*cowards who hide behind their army*cough. I guess in a lot of ways they are like Scar, hmmm? Except they were manipulated, while Scar acted on his own. So as far as brains go...oh, you know the rest!
P.S. POINT JAGABOR!

You guys are having a huge arguement aren't you? LOL!!
Anyways, I still believe Scar could kick Ed's butt. Ed probably would just laugh the whole fight anyways.

Nah, we just like to make our points valid; it's not exactly the same as arguing, and it's a lot more fun! ;D

^ Yeah, I am really enjoying this. It's fun to counter-point with others. It's the only way to be sure that you can get along later.

Ah-ha-ha-ha; yeah that's basically it. Me and Jag have never met in person though; we first saw each other on ff.net. Anyway, to get back to the topic; why would Scar want to beat up Ed anyway? When you think about it, he needed him and his friends in order for his devious plots to succeed. Without the stampede, Mufasa would not have died. Now I know what you all are thinking: "Scar killed him because he threw him off that cliff." Well, Mufasa wouldn't have even gone up that cliff if there hadn't been a stampede hazard. So even though Scar did murder his brother, technically he only did half of the work. POINT TEARTHGRRL!

Heh. That all you got? The answer to your question is simple; Scar never feels gratitude. I mean, who wouldn't even have kept the hyenas around if he didn't think they'd be of some use to him(I like the old eulogy for Mufasa and Simba better. Anyway, if you haven't seen that scene, let me sum it up: Scar declares himself king, lionesses challenge his reign, Scar sicks hyenas on them.) I mean, it seemed like Scar only wanted the hyenas around for protection, even without that scene.(On another side note, they didn't do a very good job. I mean, they only sprang forward to save him from Simba after he admitted to killing Mufasa.) But if the hyenas failed him, he'd have no problem smacking them around. Anyway, why would Ed want to beat up Scar? Ed doesn't seem like the kind of hyena who'd do something like that on his own. He'd have his friends help him, right? And you know he would! P-ah-ah-oint Jag!

Well, after what I've been through today, it's very clear ED has the most fans. Poor Shenzi and Banzai; their forums aren't getting as much attention.

Yeah, I'd have to say that Ed is my favorite of the trio. But Shenzi's not getting attention? That's strange. Normally Banzai is the one who the fans don't care for(From what I've seen, anyway.) But out of everyone, Scar is my favorite, of course.

Not being ignored period, just not getting as much attention as Ed. I mean while this forum is clearly a bonfire of debate, the Shenzi battle forums aren't being messed around with.

Hmmm. I wonder what makes Ed so popular....His comedic relief? His award winning smile? The space between his ears? But I wonder if he'd be a popular if he could talk...

Yeah, you're right. Although when I was little, I misunderstood the end of the Lion King. I used to think that Ed was saying "enemy" at the end, but he was really just laughing. Oh well. He's still cool.

LOL Ok, ok! This is going to sound so stupid, but here goes: When I was little and first watched the Lion King, I guess I couldn't understand Swahili names all that much. Because I used to think "Shenzi" was "Chanchee" and I couldn't even pronounce "Banzai" so I renamed him "Pete" and I misunderstood "Ed" so much that I thought his name was "Ant". "Chanchee, Pete, and Ant." OMG, LOL!!!!
