This thread is for things you find in any of the three films that just doesn't really make sense to you. Try and stay away from the minor things such as color changes in characters eyes or tones as these issues can occur in any animated work. So far, I only have two things to add to this. 1. On the second disc of The Lion King 1 1/2, you can play the game "Who Wants To Be King Of Pride Rock" if you get near the end of the game, you might come across a question that relates to the ending of TLK2 Simba's Pride. The answer they want you to choose refers to Kovu's and Kiara's baby??? Now did I miss something in TLK2? Was there some secret ending I never saw where Kovu and Kiara had a cub? I'd like to use a lifeline and call Disney to fix this problem 2. This is more of something I found funny, but on the second disc of TLK2 Simba's Pride, you can watch the featurette of "Proud of Simba's Pride" where they interview almost all the cast of the movie. You'll get to watch the actors doing some of their lines in from the movie but when it comes to James Earl Jones, the dialog he is reading never actually ends up in the movie. I just found this funny as it would seem to me that Disney had made this extra featurette before the final draft of the movie was out. Just something for you all to check out. If anyone else has any thing to add to this list, please feel free to do so.

The Thing I always remeber is on the original VHS, there were a couple of parts where they didnt do the voice overs very well, There was a lag and you could hear the lines twice
The Cliff scene
Original Voice: scar Mufasa : Scar Original Voice:Brother Mufasa :Brother
and in the Cave
Zazu: Oh I woul'dve never had to do this for Mufasa
Original Voice:What, What did you say?! Scar: What, What did you say?!
I'm not even sure if that's what you mean, but it stood out

Yeah, that's the kind of stuff I was going for Just things that didn't really fit in correctly or big mistakes such as the DVD extras I mentioned. I no longer have the VHS version of the movie since I watched mine to death but I kind of remember that too

I watched The Lion King II: Simba's Pride a few days ago 'cause I'd watched the first one just a few days prior (not too big on the second movie, but it's Disney so it's definitely not bad, just not classic). I thought it was a little odd how when Kovu is slashed across the face by his mother the scar appears vertically like Scar's is. She actually hits him horizontally (if I remember correctly).
Hehe, probably hopin' it wasn't noticed >.<

During the scene where Zira is orbiting Kovu, when she asks "And WHAT MUST YOU DO?" And he replies "I must KILL him!!" Zira's ear scar changes ears.

Maybe Disney took a page from "Robin Hood, Men In Tights" with Prince John's mole lol

During Simba's dream sequence in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, he dreams about the time Mufasa was killed. When you see Mufasa falling down into the gorge, you'll notice that the wildebeests are running in the opposite direction than they were in the first Lion King movie. Given, this is Simba's dream and I'm sure he wasn't paying attention to which way the creatures that were running all over his father were running but just thought I'd bring this up.

In TLK2: SP, Nala's Eyes are incorrectly colored blue.

The Outsiders' existance. How could an entirely different race of lions pop up out of nowhere? *blinks*
The cub at the end of TLK being a male, while the cub in the sequel was a female.

I thought the outlanders looked that way because of the lack of food.
I always get rapped up in the story to find any ooops!

ok it BUGS me..in TLK2 when simba is singing "we are one" to kiara..at the end when they are standing infront of pride rock..kiara's eyes are sqinting either up at simba..or up at pride rock..or up in the sky..simba looks down at kiara and gets this WTF look on his face because kiara looks puzzled and confused..and simba looks over to where she's looking up at with this WTF look on his face..then his face expression dramatically changes..from that WTF look..to a OHH i know what ur looking at type of a look..like his eyebrows raise up and he smiles at her..sorry if all that sounded confusing but just watch it..it's at the very end of we are one when the music is starting to fade away..and then right after all of that simba says "it's who you are" or whatever and licks her cheek and walks off..i just don't understand what kiara was squinting at in the sky? am i not seeing something?? you'll understand once you see the part..

Not sure if this is a mistake or not, but besides for Mufasa, Simba, Kovu, Kovu's brother, and Scar, there are no male lions. Like, who was Nala's father? And then there are all these lioness's and no mates for them or whatever - how do the lions continue on in the circle of life? lol

Generally, the main male lion mates with ALL the lionesses.
Which is why Disney acknowledged that Nala's dad had to be either Mufasa or Scar. (Scar only got to stick around because he was Mufasa's brother.)

Uhhh...this isn't exactly an oops but.....yeah....in TLK there is the scene in which Simba leaves Timon and Pumbaa momentarily when he's older and goes off to a the cliff and sighs. Well in the leaves and stuff something is spelt in the sky in the swishing, 'sex'. It's really fast so you may need to pause and stuffs/
