I just rented TLK 1.5 for the first time in a year...wow, I totally forgot how much I love it. I was in stitches the entire time, especially during the super-corny "Sunrise, Sunset" spoof and the CYFTLT sabotage part...it helps you remember not to take TLK entirely seriously...I think I'll hide it somewhere and hope nobody remembers to return it. ;D

Ahhhhh, I loved that part too...
Mom: Ohhhhh, a metaphor, huh? Rafiki: Well, actually, it's not really a metaphor...it's really more of a-- THWACK Mom: You used a metaphor on Timon?! He takes things literally!! Max! Timon's out chasing metaphors! We gotta go find him!!
XD I love it
Another part that almost killed me was near the end when Nala's talking to them about why Simba left, and they're just not getting it...
(silence, cricket cricket) Nala: RRRRRRGH! Do I have to explain it to you again?? Timon: Yes please, but this time, could you just cut to the part about Simba? Not that you're childhood wasn't terribly fascinating and all, but...
LOLOL I had to watch that one twice

As far as a sequel goes, it was a bit of a let down for me. When it comes to just being a TLK movie, it gets the job done though. I like the idea of having the side story of minor characters told but it was more about Timon than Pumbaa and the storyline was a bit try for me. There are a lot of scenes in the movie I do like however such as the scenes when Timon and Pumbaa are raising young Simba. I thought that was a nice touch and the "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" montage was funny. So overall, I still like this movie but it isn't the best TLK movie by any means in my mind

Does anyone else think that 'that's all i need' is to the same tune as 'warthog rapsody'? The film wasn't really a sequel but a kinda add on if you get what i mean
